October 2018

We have just returned after a fantastic week. The Granary was exactly as described and was perfect for our party of four adults and two children. It was clean, well presented and very comfortable.

The Granary is well located for Port Isaac and all of the North Cornwall attractions. It's only a 40 minute drive to to the South Cornwall Coast.

Overall, we were extremely impressed and very happy with what we booked and would have no hesitation recommending this property.

July 2018

Location was close to Polzeath. Property was very clean.

March 2018

Fantastic property, well designed, and beautifully presented, we loved the homemade cream tea and fresh flowers that greeted us too.

August 2016

A lovely complex of holiday cottages. The owners live on site and are very helpful. Must recommend the pottery lessons by Jon who is very patient. Overal a wonderful holiday, our granddaughter did not want to leave her cottage.

Wonderful holiday home and a great location!

October 2014

Visit no. 8 to the Granary, so that says it all!! Our hosts are always very welcoming. The property is ideal for a holiday, good location and very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Each year there are improvements. We think of it as 'home from home' when we stay. Highly recommend it!

The booking through classic cottages was easy and everything worked out exemplary! Thank you Very much! The accommodation is Very much nice perfectly renovated cottage. Home and kitchen are equipped with everything that is needed. Beds and mattresses are Very good, as well as bed linen and towels provided. The site is great and Very well maintained. The location is wonderfully quiet, although Hale farm for us was not easy to find at first. To emphasise is still close to the Atlantic Ocean: the enchanting port Isaac is only 3km, only 5 kilometers to Tintagel. The weather has played also in early September, 14 days of Sun and not a rainy day! The next door resident owners are extremely nice, friendly and helpful. On request you will receive many tips and a map was provided also on loan. Perfect! Very good target for tours, since even relatively central location. Good shopping in Wadebridge (Lidl and Tesco), as well as in the surrounding area. We, my 86-year-old father, my wife, my brother, my sister and I agree: we will come back!

July 2014

Great place for a family to stay and explore the surrounding Cornish countryside, definitely recommend it. Be aware of the narrow lanes, a bit of a shock to the Canadians!

June 2014

Thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at The Granary - the owners were friendly and helpful, property itself was lovely and spacious (including a very generous garden for our 2 year old to run around in) and well placed for plenty of trips to the various surrounding beaches. We also had several very good meals at the local pub (The St Kew Inn). We will definitely return.

October 2013

The Granary is a fantastic place to stay. We have just returned from our seventh consecutive stay and it feels like 'home from home'. The owners are very welcoming and the Granary is clean, cosy and an ideal base for a holiday in Cornwall. Highly recommend it!

Excellent accommodation in a truly beautiful setting. The cottage was very well equipped, the grounds spacious and well tended and the owners friendly and extremely helpful. The Granary is well located for beaches and local amenities and the village pub serves excellent food at reasonable prices. No hesitation in recommending this property.
