Lovely cottage. Well equipped. Fabulous view to the sea. Great location.
Mr Stamp September 2020
Fantastic to wake up, draw the curtains and sit in awe of the wonderful view !
Ms Turner September 2020
Please highlight that we were delighted that classic cottages had assessed everything, and taken great measures to ensure the cottage was spotlessly clean, and measures had been taken to ensure both guests, housekeeping and owners were safe. We were amazed we were still able to enjoy our usual beautiful cottage with only a few changes. We didnt think this was going to be possible back in June/July. Super to be able to enjoy a little bit of normality, in a very abnormal year. Thank you!
Mr. Davies August 2020
Great views of the full moon shining on sea from the garden.
Mr Randall August 2020
This is a very charming property with spectacular views of the bay.
Mrs Brandom August 2020
Pericles Cottage is so peaceful, it was a pleasure being able to relax in such a tranquil environment. Our two children discovered the joy of leisurely walks and returning to our immaculate cottage. The cottage had been cleaned to perfection. The shower was superb. The view out of the front bedrooms so beautiful, even when the weather is stormy. There is such choice where you can sit and read or talk, or plan, or play card games. There is ample crockery, the dishwasher was so useful and the kitchen was well equipped. We had a couple of BBQs, ate out in local places, and cooked at home. Waking up, making coffee and sitting in the garden admiring the view every morning and planning our days out was just blissful. Can thoroughly recommend.
Ms Turner September 2019
A super place to stay - once again we enjoyed our stay at Pericles. It was like coming home but way nicer than home!! Well designed, nicely decorated, fab views.
Mrs Cannon August 2019
Charming cottage with amazing views down to the sea from the garden and even while lying in bed in two of the rooms. Great location near to the many beaches and view points on the Lizard Peninsular.

Go out into the garden on a clear night and look up the sky is amazing !! And if your lucky you may hear the Cadgwith singers singing sea shanty songs.
Mr White June 2018

Ms Elbe July 2017
We stayed at Pericles Cottage as a family of 4 and right from the first day on we felt like being in a home away from home. The cottage and property are very well cared for, everything was very clean. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the stunning sea views. The house is extremely well equipped. Pericles Cottage is a magic place and Cadgwith is, too. We would love to return.

Out does expectations. Fabulous property
Mrs Minnik October 2015
Normally I won't fill out reviews, but we had such a lovely stay at Pericles, I have to make an exemption. The cottage is as nice as described and fully met our expectations. Due to the nice weather we could also make use of the well kept garden, missing only some loungers for sunbathing. I would highly recommend this cottage and Cadgwith and we surely will come back.
Mr Hill September 2015
A wonderful, much loved property with a warm homely feel to it. Like home, but heaps nicer with fantastic views.

Mr Hunt June 2014
Very comfortable, a real home from home with lovely views.
Mr Caldecott April 2014
Wonderful, welcoming cottage with a view that is hard to better. Peaceful location near great beaches, walks and days out within easy reach. Pericles is well equipped, nicely finished with a special feel about it.
Mr Lengenfelder August 2013
Good view but interior needs renovation especially the bathroom is not up to date anymore No wifi no mobile phone reception

Thanks for your review of Pericles Cottage. The Owner works hard to continually update and improve the cottage each year, as well as addressing the general end of season maintenance required each winter. It is however a traditional Cornish cottage that is furnished sympathetically to it's origins. The mobile reception in the area can be patchy, as with many parts of Cornwall, but there is a public telephone 300 yards away. Tanya, Customer Support
