Sea Whisper

Beautiful property in a fantastic location in Croyde. Close to the action but tucked away in a quiet and serene road. The properly was clean and well maintained upon arrival, also offering plenty of outdoor space and beautiful gardens. The hot tub was a great addition in a private and sheltered area. Several benches and seating options are dotted throughout the garden to make use of the views, although no covered area for eating/socialising outside in colder/damper weather. The property was well thought out in terms of party size - no issues with water temperature or pressure when multiple in use at one time, the double oven made cooking for large group a breeze, and enough crockery and cutlery for multiple meals meant we weren’t having to wash up/run the dishwasher multiple times per day. (As a multi-generational family who holiday together annually, we have stayed in several properties where the above are not considered, so this made a huge difference to our holiday) A couple of minor points - TVs only really work when signed into your own subscriptions/accounts, even for the basic/main channels. With grandma as part of the group, it would have been nice for her to have been able to control the TV herself and not have to ask for help each time. Blankets and lamps would have made the living room feel much cosier at night, rather than having to choose between main ceiling lights or darkness. Minor points in the scheme of things. The kids loved the separate lounge, and the downstairs bedrooms were fantastic for those with limited mobility. Great house - would definitely recommend! ...
