Glebe Farmhouse is a remote and very old Cornish farmhouse with lots of original features. The fireplace in the kitchen is particularly cosy and the window seats lovely. With the age of the property it's floorboards and partitions are quite thin, so may not be good if you have a younger one you need to get to sleep early, as sound carries throughout. The property is down a long, winding road with high hedges which adds to the sense of peace and isolation. We have 3 older children of 12, 17 and 21 and we enjoyed walks in the area and exploring Carn Euny. The property has everything you could wish for in terms of cooking family meals, however, there's no tumble dryer so anything washed will need to be line dried. There were puzzles and games to enjoy, as well as books and DVDs and the super fast WiFi is great as we had no signal anywhere else! Overall, very comfortable and enjoyable and we had a lovely week away....
