Goytre Hall is a welcoming, clean and comfortable place to stay. The loft was peaceful and well equipped. Lots of places to visit nearby, Abergavenny is a few minutes drive away, as is Usk with it's free parking (we spent an overlong time gazing at the car park notice board to make sure this was right). The car park is next to the museum of rural life (also free) and a good cafe. The walking opportunities are abundant, as are castles to explore....

My wife and I stayed at The Loft for about a week in autumn for a study tour and holiday. After a long journey from Australia, and getting the luggage upstairs, our arrival at The Loft was delightful. Everything about this accommodation was first class. The owners have applied a philosophy of excellence and good taste to the design, fittings and decor. Those considerate touches made such a difference to us when The Loft warmly welcomed us home after some long days out. We are so grateful to the owners for their thoughtfulness and hospitality. Absolutely wonderful stay! Beautifully and sympathetically decorated, confortable bed and furniture, well equipped kitchen. The hosts were friendly without being obtrusive and their recommendations in the area were superb (Baffle Haus and The Crown at Pantygelli were particular favourites with very different atmospheres). Would happily stay again....
