The Barn By The Ford

Exceeded our expectations. We've stayed in a number of Classic Cottages properties and this was the best so far. Everything from the welcome hamper to the dog treats, ball and towel and so much more. If you like rural, this is a top place to go. Plenty of walks right outside the village. Our two favourites were to The Falkland Arms, Great Tew and the The White Horse at Duns Tew. And just a few steps away, The Cinnamon Stick is well worth a visit. The TV was "interesting" it took a little while to get used to it's operation. Simon did offer to give us a driving lesson but we managed to work it out without help....

A fantastic cottage in a great location for visits within the Cotswolds and Oxford areas. Surrounded by nice people who live within the few surrounding cottages and very friendly dog walkers who always like to have a chat if you happen to be sat outside the Cottage front door with a glass of wine. The Cottage itself and all that is provided within it are first class. We did not have a dog but the access to walks is just a few meters away & if we did this location & Cottage is a 10 out of 10. Happy in all respects. The owners, Simon & Gina are very keen to give you full privacy but are also on hand at anytime if you needed advice on the local and tourist area & visits. The Barn is a lovely place to stay. Very clean, furnishings and finishing touches give it a very homely feel. Everything you need. Definitely would return.

This lovely cottage exceeded our expectations! It's been better equipped than a five star hotel and furnished with so much love for every detail. It's a little treasure in the most lovely area and the owners are the most warm, welcoming and lovely people. They gave us so many tips and offered help in any way. We fell in love with them and this cottage and we are planning our next visit already! Upon arrival there was a welcome hamper full with delicious treats waiting for us as well as two little birthday cakes. There was no need to go shopping at all since everything was provided. The bed and sofa were comfortable and everything was super clean. The barn is perfectly located to explore the Cotswalds. Thank you so much for this lovely holiday. We can't wait to come back! xx...

A huge thanks for having us! My wife celebrated her 31st birthday and it couldn’t have been more perfect. She fell in love with the Cotswolds as a result! It is ideally located in the heart of some of the best towns and villages.
