This cottage is in a great location, a few minutes' walk from pretty much everything Rye has to offer. It is furnished to a stylish, welcoming and comfortable standard and is a much better, roomier and more homely option for two people than a hotel room. We keep coming back, we love it here....

Tiny outside, tardis within. The property looks tiny at first sight but once inside it’s perfect for two. It’s in the oldest and prettiest part of Rye. The area is very quiet at night and early morning. Just a very short walk to the shops and restaurants. Loved the bathroom, deep standalone bath, big walk in shower. The water pressure was good. A room to treat yourself to a spa night in. Bedroom was big with a really comfortable bed and quality linen. There is a separate dressing room with wardrobes so plenty of storage. Loved waking up to the view of the sun on the stone church. Kitchen well equipped with a good cooker. Large fridge with icebox. Make sure you park in the cattle market car park, note it’s called Rope Street car park on google maps. Current charge is £3 per day and you can request a ticket for several days so can leave your vehicle overnight. It’s just a short walk to the cottage. Note, you can park outside the cottage whilst you load/unload your vehicle. Considering returning next year. Rye is a lovely small town and well worth visiting....

A beautiful cottage in the heritage centre of Rye. Number 4 was incredibly comfortable, quiet, welcoming and stylish and perfect for a couple’s break in this lovely part of the world. Central to Dover/ Brighton and Sevenoaks we found ourselves hurrying back to Rye and this cottage as everything you need in on the doorstep. Outstanding range of independent shops, Kino Cinema on the doorstep and myriad of fine dining and non-chain restaurants offering good quality food and drink. The microbrewery is a must! Parking can be a pain if not venturing out and about, but plentiful in town. ...

The roll top bath tub is wonderful to soak, listening to gulls. It's difficult to tire of the view from the master bedroom of the ornate St Mary's church. Picture having an early evening sherry in front of the fire while listening to the church bells before strolling to dinner....
