Heevara Cottage exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect for coastal walks and only a short walk into the Lizard village. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our week’s stay. The beds were super comfy and the bedding and towels were of a very high quality. There were logs etc. for a fire, which we only needed one evening after a long walk in the rain! After that the sun shone for the rest of the week. The heating and hot water system was very efficient. Large TV in the living room and a music system. Kimberly was on hand, if needed, and we had been left a lovely welcome pack of local fresh milk, biscuits and ingredients for a cream tea, which were all delicious. A visit to the local Treleague dairy is a short drive away and is a must for fresh produce. Also, Tregullas Farm shop, on Lighthouse Road, was only a short walk away and sold everything you could need, including newspapers and also served cream teas. We bought freshly caught fish from Cadgwith Cove and ate lunch at The Old Cellars. The Cadgwith Cove Inn was next door for an afternoon pint. We ate at Housel Bay Hotel a few times, as the food and service were amazing, as was the small bar for pre dinner drinks. We also ate at Lizard Shellfish. Freshly cooked food and very reasonably priced. The Goan fish curry was a favourite, as was the fish and chips. You can take food into the WitchBall pub, which is next door, when the sun goes down. Excellent cream teas at Lizard Point and Cornish pasties from Anne’s, in the village. We returned home refreshed and with very fond new memories of Lizard, Kynance Cove and Cadgwith Cove. We hope to return another time. ...

“Heevara” is a beautifully kept cottage, full of character and all the comforts of home. Spotlessly clean and lots of attention to detail in facilities and decor. A great location for stunning walks along the south west coastal path and within easy reach of gorgeous beaches and places to visit. We especially enjoyed Lizard Shellfish next to the Witchball pub and the Wavecrest cafe at Lizard Point, fantastic food and an awesome view. Would love to return one day! ...

This is a beautiful property. So clean and well maintained. The owner Kimberly is a truly lovely person with a kind heart and very helpful. Not intrusive. Lovely welcome package on arrival. We had more beautiful soft towels delivered to us again mid week of our stay by Kimberley. The location of the property is just perfect. It also suited our children well. There is no wm due to lack of space but this was explained to us well in advance. Lovely launderette a drive away. ...
