We stayed here for 2 nights may bank holiday. And we had the most perfect break. Cannot speak highly enough of the property or the owner Hannah, who greeted us on arrival, and showed us around and how everything worked, left a breakfast hamper for us too and even had the hot tub ready for us. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The property was even better than we expected, it’s bigger than it looks, so clean and really cozy, the bed was very comfortable, and it had everything you needed for a short break. We had the whole paddock to ourselves, which you share with some chickens, which were lovely but it’s very peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub is perfect to relax and unwind and the end of the day. We had food at the pub just down the road and highly recommend that, food was fantastic. We would definitely return here and recommend it to all our friends and family. If you’re looking at this place I urge you to book. You will not be disappointed....

We had a delightful relaxing stay. The hosts were extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough to give us a lovely visit. They had thought of everything we could possibly need. The hot tub was amazing, the chickens were wonderful company and the hut super cozy. It is situated in a beautiful area with scenic views all round, has a lovely pub nearby and a local brewery down the road. We will definitely return....

First of all we received a very warm welcome from Hannah, she even helped us carry our stuff from the car to the shepherds hut and showed us how everything worked. The shepherds hut was absolutely beautiful, and more spacious than it looks from outside! It was beautifully decorated with lots of lovely touches, and contained literally everything you would need. There were also lots of quality toiletries available to use. There was also a continental breakfast hamper supplied and fresh milk in the fridge, and eggs laid by Hannah's chickens! The bed was so so comfortable and we both slept like logs. We loved the fact that we had the whole paddock to ourselves, and we made use of the hot tub which Hannah had heated for us prior to our our arrival. Just a note though, this is just a wood fired hot tub so don't expect bubbles and jets. There is plenty of wood supplied for the hot tub, fire pit and pizza oven. This really is a little home from home and we didn't want to leave! We will definitely be returning at some point, a place to truly relax and unwind....

This is an amazing place to stay , we had the best time , we highly recommend the secret garden escape
