We were very happy to stay in this property in mid September. It is in a lovely quiet location with picturesque views of the estuary. There were lots of walks to do from the door and the constantly changing tidal creek with its different birds added much interest. It was also a good location for cycling enthusiasts and the cottage catered for this with an indoor bike rack. It is also beautifully decorated which gives a welcoming atmosphere.

Greenshanks is a charming little cottage in a wonderful position overlooking the creek! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we’re planning to return next year!

Gem of a cottage as long as you dont mind lots of steps and very steep stairs. Garden is a real haven of beautiful sub-tropical plants. An absolute delight to spend time in. Interior design is very good indeed, and all beds chairs etc are very comfortable Utility/drying area is very useful indeed eg to bring paddle boards, ebikes Hamlet itself is very quiet but lovely with community walled orchard and swimming directly off the quay steps into the calm waters of the estuary.

We had a lovely week away in Greenshanks. We were blessed with some lovely sunny days. The garden was a delight to sit in, we've never seen bamboo quite like it. Thanks for the milk and biscuits for both us and the dog. The steps are definitely challenging.

Ideally located for exploring Cornwall, both the west and north. Easy level walk to pub in Deveron, excellent food, need to book for busy time. Cottage had homely feel and lived up to expectations, only downside no “cornish clotted cream” welcome. First time ever! On the plus side Tilly left a welcome treat for the dog.

This is a really charming well equipped cottage with thought given to every detail. The location is idyllic with good access to attractions or for a really relaxing break of just walks and pub lunches. I would not hesitate in highly recommending it. If you are a family with small children have a chat with classic cottages re the stairs as they are super helpful!

Lovely cottage but not suitable for older people, toddlers or infirm people, due to uneven stepped floors and steep stairs, Garden could be more user friendly. Very enclosed with lots of bees. Nice location and friendly village. Local children were jumping in the creek fro the pier.

We're so pleased that you found the cottage lovely overall, and that you enjoyed this pretty location. The cottage does have some changes of level throughout with steps here and there on the ground floor as well as the steep cottage stairs up to the First Floor. We've included some photos in our website gallery so that guests can decide if the property will work for them. Tanya, Customer Support

Not for the faint hearted due to too many steps of varying sizes making it easy to fall down them and break your ankle.

We had a lovely holiday at Greenshanks, the property was in an ideal location for visiting this part of Cornwall. The property was tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished. The small garden was a sun trap and very private. The Royal Oak at Perranwell is well worth a visit, food excellent. Thankyou for the milk and biscuits.
