We loved the house with its sunny aspect, stunning views, and plenty of opportunity to sit outside either on the veranda or in the garden or sun terrace. When we were there it was sunny but with a cold northerly wind so the veranda was ideal as the house protected us from the cold wind. The conservatory was a huge bonus and a wonderful place to sit and watch the big sky's above the sea. One evening we watched a group of birds diving for fish. We loved the peace and tranquility that the location gave us, and as we normally cater for ourselves and don't eat out we weren't worried that any local eateries were a short car ride away. The house was very well equipped and the beds were extremely comfortable, a very big plus for us. It was lovely to have 'sensible' sized TV's and to have iplayer was a huge bonus. The settees were very comfy and the foot stools were much appreciated. It was a lovely place to relax and unwind with no urgency or need to go out if we didn't want to. Home from home, just what we want from our holiday. We had one minor problem that was very quickly and efficiently resolved through Classic Cottages. We will certainly be returning. ...

Wow, wow, wow! We had the most wonderful time staying at Seaway House! It is well equipped to a high standard. We couldn't believe the fantastic views for most rooms of the house. The balcony is huge and was well used as we watched the boats out at sea coming and going. It is so quiet at Seaway House, you hear the sheep and cows in the near by fields occasionally, but that's all! The sun room is a good size and was well used. The stars at night are amazing as little light pollution and you can sit on the balcony for a good view. We went to Blackpool Sand which is good but we wanted a sandy beach for a 4yr old so we went across to Broadsands beach, Paignton via the very quick and efficient Dartmouth ferry, which we would do again. This is one of the best houses we have stayed at and can't wait to return next year! ...

Seaway House was what we call 'a find' Beautiful views, High quality furnishings and comfortable beds. We felt very much at home and enjoyed the art and artifacts around the house. It was peaceful and relaxing, just a short walk down to a great Community pub - Thursday night is Quiz & Pizza night. Great fun!...

Excellent house and location, if you like a bit of seclusion. Great proximity to Blackpool sands by car or on foot (if you don't mind hills).

Thank you for your lovely review - we agree, it really is a lovely location snuggled into the countryside yet so close the beach. Sarah, Customer Support

We had a wonderful stay at Seaway House. The house was comfortably and attractively furnished, very clean, and warm. The conservatory was a lovely space to sit and watch the sea and the sunsets, despite the wild weather. The house has great views, is very private, and offered us peace and space and some pretty coastal walks straight from the front door. ...
