We really loved Periwinkle Cottage - a perfect location (we'd previously booked tickets for a concert at the Electric Palace to discover when we arrived that it was literally next door but one!)

Despite being small, the cottage felt light and airy, but also cosy - a difficult balance to achieve. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the back garden was very pretty - must be lovely in warmer weather. We also loved Bridport - a beautiful market town with what feels like a great community spirit. We would definitely love to return.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage and the location were just what we wanted. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops in Bridport plus a very interesting Saturday market to explore. Periwinkle cottage is tucked away from the road and is blissfully peaceful at night time. We slept really well in a super comfy bed and even enjoyed some late Autumn sunshine in the little private courtyard garden. A lot of thought has gone into making sure that you have everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Complimentary treats on arrival were much appreciated too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay at the lovely Periwinkle cottage. It was lovely, cosy and quiet and was in a great location in the town centre. The only downside was not being able to park near the property and having to use the public car parks.

Thank you for your review, it sounds as though you had a wonderful week in Periwinkle Cottage and we hope that the Explore Nearby tab on our website was useful when looking for things to do in the area. As with a lot of historical villages and towns, parking spaces are not always close by but we do hope that information in the cottage folder helped with finding the nearest car parks to the property, some only a couple of minutes walk from the cottage. Our stay at Periwinkle cottage was perfect and we’d 100% recommend to anyone. It’s cosy and comfortable and had everything we needed to be able to live and relax for the week. The cottage is set back from the main high street which gives a lot of privacy but doesn’t feel isolated. It’s very close to West bay beach being a few minutes drive away. We loved our stay and would definitely book again!!!
