Well, what can I say, The Garden Lodge was a fantastic place to stay. It's situated in the grounds of Tredethy House, which is a lovely house, in amazing grounds, in a beautiful area. In the Lodge waiting for us when we went in were fresh eggs (from the chickens running around), milk, cream, jam and fresh scones. There were even a few treats for the dog. The owners Rosie and Robin are great people, who left you to enjoy your holiday and if you needed them for anything were just a stone throw away. They greeted us when we turned up and waved goodbye when we left. Would we go back, without a doubt. Hopefully Robin will have the pool up and running by then. Thanks for a great stay......

The garden lodge is superb. Well maintained, tastefully decorated and very clean. We felt very welcome and comfortable here. Great garden area to sit in and Rosie and Robin are great. There if you need them but don’t intrude on your holiday. The country location was really nice and handy to visit both coasts. I would visit again without hesitation and highly recommended the garden lodge. The free range garden chickens are lovely as are their eggs. The cream tea on arrival and the handmade rose and geranium soap were really appreciated. ...
