We had a lovely week’s stay in Cobblers Cottage! It was very clean, cosy and welcoming and perfectly situated for easy access to the centre of St Mawes - it was a 30 second walk to the harbour! It was great to have a small enclosed garden as we had our dog with us. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. Unfortunately the dishwasher didn’t work but Amanda was very responsive and helpful when we contacted her about it. The surrounding area was really beautiful - the church at St Just in Roseland in particular - and we loved Towan beach, one of the few nearby that accepts dogs all year round. The changeable weather at the end of July didn’t spoil our holiday and walks to the castle and beyond along the headland were bracing and scenic! Cobblers Cottage was a great base and lovely to come back to after being out and about.

Lovely place to stay. Less than a minute from the harbour quay where you can have delicious coffee and croissant every morning. Beach is very close and allows dogs all year. Lots of lovely places to eat although quite pricey. Coop open till 10pm every day of the week and very well-stocked. Some delightful local commerces full of tasteful items. Cottage itself is beautifully presented, much better than our own home! So comfortable and cosy. Courtyard gets sun most of the day. Parking is about 300m away in town car park (£35 for the week as of July 2023). If you are not a confident driver, use the approach from the castle rather than trying to go up and down Grove Hill (vertiginously steep in places and two way despite not being appropriate in my view). Lots to do, even if weather inclement and you will be super comfortable in Cobblers itself.

Cobblers Cottage exceeded our expectations. It was stylish, comfortable and superbly well equipped. The cottage is small but doesn’t feel it as the space is so well thought out and organised. It was great to be right in the middle of busy, beautiful St Mawes but to have the seclusion of a private patio. We enjoyed al fresco breakfasts and lunches stocking up at the two bakeries just a few steps away. Highly recommend.

Lovely welcoming little cottage, very well equipped kitchen, beds very comfortable, has a lovely secluded patio garden. Will definitely be coming to stay again.
