Pond House offers exceptionally comfortable living space downstairs, which is complemented by a galley-style kitchen and separate dining-room for those holiday meals. Adjacent to the kitchen is a handy utility-room, perfect for hanging coats and drying off dogs after long walks in the countryside. There is access to the small, private patio area via the utility-room, which is a lovely spot for a quiet drink in the evening.
Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, both with views across the farm and countryside. Sink back into comfy mattresses and soft linen, ensuring you of total relaxation. There is nothing to disturb you in this tranquil location, so switch off and enjoy. The bathroom can be accessed via the upstairs hallway and bedroom one, which offers great flexibility for guests. A second shower-room downstairs means that each bedroom has access to its own bath/shower-room.
Step out of the front door and close by on your right-hand side, there is a picturesque lily pond from where this cottage lends its name. There is so much on offer to you outside, including a separate enclosed garden and covered area where the owners have provided a table-tennis table - anyone for a family tournament? There is also a tennis court that you are welcome to use.
Vellow Wood Farm runs a sustainable pheasant shoot on some Saturdays, starting in November to the beginning of February, with additional vehicles and guests.
