A gorgeous, secluded retreat not far from the stunning Cornish coast. The Loft is immaculate, beautifully furnished and cosy. It is light, bright and decorated to a very high standard. It felt like everything was completely new, so clean and fresh. The off road parking and private outdoor seating were great. Walking distance to a lovey pub and a fantastic base to explore across Cornwall. The cream tea on arrival was a lovely welcome. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage in a great location. Excellent equipped and super clean.

The loft was a fantatstic holiday, had ample space, all the equipment you needed, good parking, nice comfy beds, downstairs bathroom was brilliant as well as upstairs too. The cottage had everything we needed for a family of 4 and just made our holiday a very cosy and comfortable one. Would highly recommend.

Superb property and would love to live in a place like this with the milky-way just outside

stayed for a week in August with family of four, very spacious and well equipped , would recommend anyone to stay here

The Loft is a beautiful property to stay at. It is furnished and equipped to a very high standard and so much thought has gone into making it a comfortable and welcoming property. Fluffy towels, lovely linen, huge beds as well as every accessory made our stay very luxurious. It is so well equipped we had absolutely everything we could wish for. The location is peaceful, good for walking, a stroll to the Miners Arms or a short drive to the spectacular coast.

Absolutely gorgeous accommodation. Beautifully furnished and very comfortable Ideal for exploring both north and south coasts of Cornwall . We had a great holiday , thank you ! We don’t often book the same place twice but with this one we just might .

Enjoyed the most delightful stay in the Loft. Weather was perfect, location to the most wonderful pub was terrific and the Lofts accommodation was just as described, super well equipped and very comfortable for ourselves and our Labrador. Very quiet road most of the time but if you have a dog that likes to explore if the garden doors are open this would be stressful. Would recommend!

A delightful cottage fitted to a high standard. The scones, jam and clotted cream on our arrival were an extra bonus, thank you!

Lovely comfy cottage with beautiful open plan living space and two gorgeous bedrooms. Highly recommended.

Upon arrival we were moved to say "wow" when we entered the property. It is really well equipped and is finished to a high standard using items and soft furnishings from a selection of sources. The kitchen had a good selection of crockery, utensils and baking trays all of which came easily to hand.

The property is in a good location, being minutes from St Agnes and Perranporth, and whilst the occasional car does pass by the property, it is generally quiet and peaceful.

At the end of our week's stay we were sad to be leaving having had such a good time, and fully intend to book another stay.

The Loft is an exceptional cottage with everything you could possibly need, located within walking distance of some amazing coastline. A real gem.

Had a lovely week stay. The Loft is light airy bright and warm. Bed was lovely and cosy and property decorated nicely throughout. Location was quiet and near St Agnes and Perranporth for walking. Only a couple of negatives sofa very uncomfortable after sitting for 2 hours on an eve, unfortunately it was a bit like sitting on a rock. Downstairs shower room smells really bad, I can only describe the smell as though previous guests have been using the shower for washing dogs or other things I'm not sure but unfortunately the smell in that room smells ingrained. Tv far too big for our liking but sure others would like that. Overall we would stay again as apart from those few negatives The Loft really is lovely and the space is bigger than the photos.

Lovely property which is well furnished inside and out. Excellent central location and good local pub. We hope to stay again.

The Loft was a beautiful little cottage at Mithian near St Agnes. Good pub in the village and the coast path is not far away. The county town of Truro is also just a few miles away with great shopping.

We're thrilled you enjoyed your Christmas stay at The Loft. A cosy, warm cottage with a good pub down the road sounds like the perfect recipe for a good holiday. We'd love to welcome you back in the Summer so you can continue to explore more of this wonderful part of Cornwall. Kelsey, Customer Support

Very comfortable cottage, very friendly owner just a shame about the road noise and the very low sofa

Reply from Classic Cottages

Thanks so much for your review, we're delighted that you found the cottage comfortable. Unfortunately there was a temporary road closure during your stay to the nearby A30, and it seems that rather than following the signed diversion, some drivers had cut through the village. We can only apologise for this unusual situation as ordinarily this little road is only used by local residents. We appreciate your thoughts on the sofa and the owner is investigating the purchase of a different style. Tanya, Customer Support

The Loft is a great place to stay, has everything you need for a home from home, and is close to St Agnes, the Miners Arms is literally just down the road and serves great food and is very dog friendly. I would recommend the Loft and would stay there again if visiting Cornwall.

Lovely property and tasteful furnishings throughout. Location was noisy when we stayed because of a road diversion but normally should be quiet I understand. Very convenient for Truro and St Agnes itself very pleasant.

The Loft was excellent, every room produced a WOW as we looked around.

It was so very well equipped and so tastefully furnished.

Having never come across electric radiators we could not believe how efficient they were and only needed one on it what was a very large area downstairs.

Go and have a stay there you won’t be disappointed.

We hope to return in the future.
