Wow! 5* We would highly recommend a stay at this property. We loved: The warm welcome from the hosts The thoughtful hamper with high quality extras, many locally sourced. The accommodation with a pre-lite fire on arrival for that truly warm welcome. The Cottage was spotlessly clean and had all that we needed for a cosy stay over the Christmas period, including wonderful Christmas decorations. The birds and the views are beautiful. We received the warmest of welcomes at Gt Eckworthy from Anna and Chris. The personal touch really does go a long way! I would describe The Cottage as having the WOW factor. Immaculately presented, a stunning location, so quiet and peaceful. It’s an absolute pleasure to return to every day after our trips exploring. The quality of the furnishings and comfort offered to guests is exceptionally high. Compliments to the housekeeping for their endeavours, simply outstanding. We relaxed inside in comfort, enjoyed outside meals on the deck in glorious Autumn sunshine surrounded by Anna’s beautiful tubs and baskets and the sparkling and spotlessly clean hot tub was the icing on the cake! So many lovely places to visit close by, especially RHS Rosemoor. Appledore and Instow. Sandymouth Bay was delightful. We loved every second of our stay.
