Area great with many beautiful places to visit. Hosts lovely and couldn't do enough. If you want relaxation its the perfect place to stay. Home from home with extras!

Everything about our stay from start to finish was wonderful. Anna and Chris messaged us ahead of our stay with information about events, restaurants and things to do in the area, as well as checking if we had any dietary requirements. When we arrived we were greeted by them both, and a lovely hamper of goodies to enjoy - local apple juice, crisps, lovely fresh coffee and the most delicious items for a cream tea - such a treat.

The cottage itself is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully decorated, and everything, and I mean everything had been thought of in terms of what you might need to cook yourself up a lovely meal and for a comfortable stay - even the dressing robes were incredibly soft and luxurious.

We had such a wonderful time, cooking lovely meals, enjoying the hot tub and with plenty of privacy away from the other accommodation on the property.

Anna and Chris were the loveliest hosts and well definitely be back again soon. Thank you for making my birthday weekend so special!

The Granary was a superb property to stay in. I don't think I've ever known a holiday property to be so clean! It was immaculate, stylish and a joy to be in. The location is extremely peaceful, surrounded by fields and wildlife. The outdoor seating area and hot tub was spacious and a very comfortable space to eat and relax in. The property is extremely well equipped and everything needed for cooking was in place and in great condition.

The owners were extremely attentive and helpful, whilst at no time did their presence feel at all intrusive.

I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely cottage, beautifully equipped. The weather was awful but we didn't mind too much as the cottage was so lovely, it wasn't a hardship not to go out and there was always the hot tub! Beautiful countryside and we would like to return, possibly in the Springtime. We can thoroughly recommend it for a glorious relaxing break.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It was very clean, well equipped and beautifully furnished to a high standard. It was also in a good location to explore North Devon and the cottage was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. It was also lovely to be able to see so many stars in the night sky due to it’s location. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet retreat which is also within short driving distances of towns, beaches and walking routes.

Enjoyed our stay at this cottage, very clean, well equipped, in a superb location to get out and about in North Devon. Wi-fi excellent and a lovely sun trap to enjoy the hot tub.

Lovely clean, well equipped cottage. Bonus of the hot tub to relax achey legs and feet after walking. A decent TV/TV channels which is rare in holiday cottages we've rented. Very happy with everything.

This property is immaculate but probably not for everyone. It's in a very quiet location with very narrow approach roads.

A stunning, comfortable cottage that’s very well equipped and furnished to a very high standard. A lovely welcome hamper. The owners live on the same site and available to answer any queries.

Small but perfectly formed, has everything you need for a relaxing stay in deepest North Devon. Ideal for couples, but slept 3 at a pinch, it came fully equipped, including hot tub, smart TV, and the best Wi-Fi we’ve ever had in a holiday home. The sheep and chickens added to the all round great experience.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. Very well equipped with everything you need for a great stay. Excellent rental and would happily recommend.

This cottage was perfect for us in every way, and so very well thought out that we wanted for nothing. Given the Owners' attention to detail, we found the cottage to be fabulous, sumptuous and delightful. It was so clean and wonderfully converted, decorated and furnished that our every need was catered for. Our welcome pack was delicious and the comfort of the cottage just made it a 1st class holiday experience. The cottage was extremely well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and the private outside space from which to sunbathe on the comfortable sunbeds or to stargaze. What luxury when you have use of the second bedroom for a day bed or dressing room and a comfortable, cozy, master bedroom with quality bedding to snuggle into, and drift to sleep, exhausted by the wonderful fresh air and countryside/beach pursuits! We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the nearby beautiful RHS Rosemoor gardens and cycling the wonderful traffic free Tarka Trail with its stunning views from Braunton to Great Torrington. Our trips to the surrounding beautiful sandy beaches in the daytime and at sunset and our visit to Clovelly were great - we enjoyed it all. We will certainly look to see if we can book this wonderful cottage again when we next visit North Devon.

Fabulous cottage with hot tub in beautiful rural location. Hosts are very proactive in ensuring your stay is enjoyable & also provided a lovely welcome pack. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quite retreat, but within striking distance of towns & beaches.

Fabulous cottage , the hosts are so helpful and friendly The design of the cottage is so beautiful and the decoration is high class A really relaxing few days and would highly recommend

The property itself was furnished and decorated to the highest standard and the welcome hamper was amazing. The hot tub was perfect in the evenings and both beds were really comfy. Location is lovely and quiet too and was a great base to explore North Devon. Highly recommended

We had a peaceful, relaxing holiday at this delightful cottage. The cottage has lots of beautiful touches & is exceptionally equipped. The hot tub is an added bonus and the outside space is private and proved to be a little sun trap. It’s very rural so perfect for star gazing. We definitely would return.

This property is a real gem, beautifully designed, decorated and very well equipped. It is sited in an extremely rural position and it is advisable to follow the route to the cottage outlined on the information sheet as some of the surrounding roads are no more than tracks. Highly recommend .

Very peaceful situation, and beautifully set up cottage. The hot tub had us in every day. Highly recommend and we are planning to come back.

The area, with which we were not familiar, was lovely. The sun even shone! Highlights for us included the beach at Westward Ho, Appledore, Instow beach, Hartland Abbey and Clovelly and not forgetting the super dinner at the Farmer's Arms at Woolsery (plus their take away fish and chips - top quality!).

Perfect place for a get away. Beautifully designed and very well equipped. Would 100% stay again. The stars were amazing to look at of a evening as it is so remote there was no light pollution meaning you could really see the whole night sky. Just wish we’d taken our telescope.
