The stunning views from Porlock Hill stretch for miles and, on a clear day, you can see Wales. You may see the endangered Exmoor Pony - one of our oldest native breeds - grazing on the heather-covered hillsides.

The picture-postcard village of Dunster is perched high on a hill and contains lovely shops, a castle, a watermill and this beautiful ancient Yarn market.

You don't have to be a train-spotter to enjoy the sights and smells of the steam trains on the West Somerset Railway. Take a trip and pass through exquisite countryside and coastal villages - maybe stopping off for a cup of tea and a cake.
