We were looking for a place to relax and unwind and this was definitely the ideal cottage. The hosts were very friendly and the cottage and grounds well kept and clean. There are lots of places to sit in the grounds with sculptures and ornaments and wildlife, we saw a barn owl most evenings. The local coastal walks are spectacular and we had a couple of great meals in the Thatched Inn Pub in the next village. Would stay there again if we were in the area....

The overall standard and facilities at Glendale are excellent. If you want to get away from the rat race and are seeking somewhere to switch off, this is the place. Really well situated for discovering North Devon. We had a really great break.
