Pheasant Rise is in a fantastic location, with Lanhydrock right on the doorstep - perfect for dog walks and early morning runs! In addition, both the north and south coasts are easily accessed from the property. We loved the open-plan living area which was snug and warm, even in poor weather in March. The enclosed garden and the dog rugs and towel provided meant that this place was genuinely 'dog friendly'. The WiFi was good and allowed me to work from the property on a couple of days. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances easy to use. All in all we had a great stay and would definitely recommend Pheasant Rise. ...

Very nice holiday home, great location to visit lots of different beaches all 30mins away. Town centre just 5 mins drive away, train station 10min walk through the woods. Great layout for cooking, eating and relaxing in the open plan main room. Clean and modern throughout. ...

Could not fault the cottage. Ideal location for walks with our two Dalmatia’s on Lanhydrock estate and by the river Great to have a steam train at the end of the drive. Pity we could not just let the dogs out as you to go through two gates to get to the enclosed large garden....

Highly recommend Pheasant Rise. It was the most amazing property and great location for visiting many places in Cornwall without driving too far each day. Owners have thought of everything and we would definitely come back again.

We loved our stay at Pheasant Rise. With two dogs, the house had been thoughtfully set up. The hosts had clearly thought of our every need. There were biscuits, tea, milk and coffee to revive us after a long drive. The location of the property is perfect too with great walks at Lanhydrock on the doorstep and easy access via car to the north and south coasts which meant each day had a different activity and adventure.
