The Shippon is a fabulous place to stay. It is beautifully decorated and furnished and was very comfortable for 8 adults. The surrounding countryside is lovely and despite mixed weather we had a brilliant stay.

As a party of 7 we found the Shippon way exceeded our expectations. One of the many seating areas is a sofa facing the bifold doors and outstanding views that pleased two of the older people in our party who loved to relax with a coffee whilst taking in the views. The cleanliness was second to none it was spotless and a credit to whoever does the cleaning. We all agree we will definitely return to the Shippon....

Every summer my sisters and I organize a holiday with our mum. We decided to choose Devon as our destination this year. For us the accommodation is of the utmost importance and The Shippon lived up to all our expectations. This house will not disappoint you. It ticked all our boxes! It is beautifully furnished and as well as having 4 bedrooms each with a spacious bathroom, there is lots of space with comfy sofas to chill out and chat about the highlights of a day spent sightseeing. ...

We used to come to Dawlish when the children were little and wanted to reminisce as such fond memories of the area , now they are grown up . Wanted a property to house us but give them some space . !Wow.. Lovely property with great views Fantastic space and definitely has the wow factor .. lovely the fact all bedroom have an En suite or bathroom linked . Such a social space and was perfect for our getaway . maybe consider 1/2 of bedrooms to have a TV as a retreat from the open space as can be a bit loud Booking easy and good reception details Roads a bit tight to negotiate but make for interesting drive ! This is our second visit to this beautiful property which is so peaceful and idyllic. The views of the hills and fields are ever changing and captivating. We love the high quality and modern set-up of the cottage and it has everything you will need. It is really helpful to have the separate entry hall/laundry room and feels super luxurious having a bathroom for each of the bedrooms....
