Great place to stay. Clean, warm and very comfortable. Location was excellent, only a minute or so to the town centre. Would definitely stay there again..

We're so pleased the cottage scored top marks with you and look forward to your next visit. Julie, Customer Support

We had a lovely stay in Lantern Cottage. The cottage was spotless and beautifully decorated throughout. It’s in a great location within easy walking distance of the high street. There is a car park almost opposite the cottage, we always found a space and just paid a daily rate which we factored into the cost of the holiday. We loved Totnes, lots of lovely independent shops and cafes and a community run cinema which we highly recommend visiting. We’d definitely come again. ...

Fantastic cosy cottage in a very quiet location within a two minute walk from the bustling historic and diverse high street. So many independent shops. Planned trip to visit Bovey Tracey craft festival. Everything we needed for a very relaxing weekend. Xx...

The location of Lantern Cottage is fantastic, right in the middle of Totnes and we enjoyed getting to know the High Street. The Cottage itself is lovely, a little quirky - we really enjoyed the top floor 'chill out' zone. It is thoughtfully decorated and has just about everything you could need. A shower would be a bonus, but otherwise it is just about perfect. Although very central, it was generally pretty quiet, the bells from St Marys the noisiest part of our stay. Totnes is a lovely town, we particularly enjoyed the live music at the Barrell House, Delphini's gelatos and the plethora of crystal shops! We had a lovely trip on the river down to Dartmouth and went swimming at the Waves Leisure pool in Torquay, which was a big hit with the kids. Definitely one to come back to!...

Lantern Cottage is perfectly situated for holidays without taking the car. Ten mins from the train station, five mins from the shops. Ten mins from the beautiful river Dart with ferry trips to Dartmouth and beyond. We took the ferry on several occasions- to Dartmouth & then beautiful Dittsum. Also did the Round Robin trip ie ferry to Dartmouth steam train to Paignton open top bus back to Totnes. We also visited the holiday home of Agatha Christie - Greenway, which is accessed by a small ferry called Christie Belle. My favourite trip - by local bus - was to the beautiful seaside resort of Salcombe - well worth a visit....
