We had the best stay ever at Helen and Harry’s. They could not have been any nicer. Our daughter and son had a lot of play time together with their 2 daughters and we even visited the neighbouring farm together. Some beautiful beaches a short drive away as well as several attractions for kids (seal sanctuary, playgrounds). All in all a fabulous stay. We cannot wait to come back.

A warm welcome awaits you at Bal Ding cottage from owners Harry and Helen who have done everything possible to make your holiday just right. The cottage is in an ideal location for all of Cornwall’s many attractions. The gardens are lovely and the cottage has everything you need whatever the weather - barbecue on the patio or meals in the lovely conservatory or even a quick snack at the breakfast bar. I will be visiting again soon!

Bal Ding cottage is comfortable and well equipped with a lovely sunny garden. The owners Helen and Harry are very welcoming and helpful with suggestions of lesser known places to visit if you want to go off the beaten track. It is the perfect place to explore so much of Cornwall from - the Lizard, Falmouth, Truro, Penzance, the Helford river, beaches on the north and south coast and many beautiful gardens such as Glendurgan and Trebar nearby . We had a very enjoyable few days there and hope to return before too long. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this little gem to friends and family.

A lovely cottage tucked away down a country track yet close to Falmouth, the Cornish coast and tourist attractions such as Trebah Gardens which was great. Recommended.

Bal Ding is an absolute delight - an ideal Cornish Cottage! Beautifully decorated and furnished, it is evident that a lot of thought has gone into the finishing touches. The hosts next door are warm, friendly and relaxed. Plenty of room inside and charming garden space outside. A very peaceful cottage to get away from it all, but within a short distance of local pubs serving good food and ales. Bal Ding also has the benefit of easy access to explore the Lizard and further afield. We enjoyed seeing the menagerie of animals and having fresh eggs from next door. Definitely would book again for time away to explore, rest and rejuvenate.
