Our stay at Collie exceeded ALL expectations. When I say Chloe and Kevin have thought of everything, they really have thought of everything! The hut is well equipped with everything you could possibly need and they'd even thought ahead for you, leaving milk and orange juice in the fridge and coffee in the cupboard. They'd even set out some treats for our dog and is was these little added touches that made the whole experience so wonderful.

The hut itself is utterly gorgeous, all the furnishings are plush and comfortable. The view is stunning, we couldn't believe how tranquil it was - we just adored sitting out looking over at the horses whilst we ate our breakfast in the morning. The fire pit and the hot tub made the stay that extra bit luxurious and made us feel very warm and cosy on the cooler September evenings. We couldn't have asked for anything more from our stay at Collie and we'll certainly be recommending the hut to all our friends and family.

Incredible place to stay. The rural location is perfect, so peaceful, clean and relaxing. The cabin was fully equiped with everything you could need and all of the little details where thought of, in a covid friendly way. Super cosy and luxurious in a very home-ly way. The views and the horses constantly grazing infront of the cabin felt surreal and a very needed breath of fresh air.

We loved it so much, will be returning again soon.

Ps we briefly met Chloe, who was really friendly and accompanied by one of her very cute dogs.

We booked 2 nights at collies for our honeymoon, and so glad we did! Collies exceeded all expectations, the location was perfect we wanted something private but not overly secluded in middle of nowhere. When we arrived we were blown away by all the details and equipment and effort put into the hut, it literally felt like we were the first 2 to ever stay there. The logs fires were all set up ready to go, there was even a small milk in the fridge ready for a cuppa. The hot tub and the fire pit were a perfect way to relax in the evenings watching the shetlands in the field in front of the hut. We don’t have one critique about this place, it truly is perfect and we cannot wait to go back. The owners are very warm and welcoming and always say hello cross paths.

I liked everything about it. All clean and new. Lovely to have the wood burner at night and early mornings. Beautiful location. Owners are lovely too.

Our stay here for a little UK honeymoon getaway, was absolutely perfect. We could not have wished for more, it was clean, had everything we need and the view from the hottub, watching the sun go down was amazing! We would definitely book again. Thank you

Our staying at Collie was absolutely out of heaven! Everything was just amazing! The owners and their dogs were really friendly and always ready to help with everything you would need. The space is private and quiet and you feel like the time freezes. My puppy was really happy as well as he made new friends there (the owner’s dogs and the ponies). The hut was equipped with absolutely anything you would ever need, it is modern and more than clean. Really accessible place. We will definitely return here as this is the perfect place to totally relax you mind and soul. Thank you so much for everything! :)

We enjoyed such a wonderful week at Collie; it was so good I'm not quite sure where to start. Confirmed holiday cottage dwellers, we had long ago dismissed glamping as not for us - how wrong we were!! This Shepherds Hut is a must for the holiday maker and adventurer alike who love both the indoor and outdoor life. The Owners, Cholie and Kevin are so welcoming and helpful that we wanted for nothing. Collie has been so well equipped, both inside and out, that the weather had little impact on what we could enjoy doing. Lounging in the exquisitely comfortable garden chairs with a cup of tea watching the minature ponies, playing a fun outdoor game, sitting in the hot tub watching a glorious sunset or star gazing around the fire pit, we were spoilt for choice. The woodburner, extra towels and the cosy dressing gowns all added to our comfort. The kitchen was very well equipped and with a gas hob, microwave and fridge with ice box, we were able to choose whether to eat in or out. We found plenty of places to visit on the doorstep including NT Barrington Court, Montecute House and the Priests House opposite EH Muchelney Abbey together with the gardens at Lambrook Manor and a number of tea rooms, galleries and pubs. We visited many of these on our bikes, cycling several miles of route 339. We also found plenty of footpaths and walked and ran. I wish we could do it all over again and look forward to returning again sometime. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Massive thanks for a brilliant stay. We really enjoyed our three night break. The accommodation was immaculate and really well thought out with everything we required for a relaxing time. The hot tub is great and the perfect way to unwind after exploring the beautiful countryside surrounding the property. Kevin & Chloe made us feel very welcome, Thanks again
