A cute little barn which has been very well thought out inside to maximise the limited space and is well equipped. The bed is hard and we found it uncomfortable so sadly didn’t sleep well. The garden area is lovely and the barn is in a good location for visiting the nearby beaches and coastal walks. A ‘hilly’ walk to St Agnes and Trevaunance Cove though if you don’t use your car. St Agnes itself has a few nice shops and eateries but was busy with traffic and the beach over run with local teenagers. Others local coves and beaches are better at Portreath, Portowan and Chapel Porth. Beware of booking despite the offered discount whilst the building work is ongoing if you want peace as it was unfortunately more disruptive than we had been led to believe. With new houses having being built around there is noise from the neighbouring gardens too which is a shame.

We spent a lovely few days at Bower Barn. The location was a perfect base for exploring with a delicious bakery, pubs and restaurants within a short walking distance. Our frenchie loved the garden and the access to the field behind was an added bonus. We didn’t want to go home!

Very nice small cottage, make sure you travel light, as storage for your garments is minimal. If you are looking for peace and quiet make sure you visit when the surrounding building works are complete.

A lovely stay in a lovely location in a very well equipped and beautifully decorated barn conversion. We’ll definitely be back. Lisa And Richard (March 2022)

What a cosy little spot for a winter break! We loved the fact we didn't use our car at all as the barn was in the perfect spot to walk to all amenities. We loved walking our dogs and exploring the coastline and discovering The Canteen for lunch. Bower Barn had everything we needed and more.

Bower Barn is a lovely place to stay. It is very cosy and very well equipped in the kitchen for all of your culinary needs. It is in a great location and walkable to the shops, restaurant and beach. I really enjoyed my stay and will be back next year. Many thanks!

A tranquil retreat which was everything and more that we wanted! Beautiful little gem of a place and we wouldn’t hesitate in staying again! Furnished beautifully with everything you could possibly need! Cosy, warm and really sweet! Location was ideal, just a short walk into St Agnes (5 minutes) and a further 10-15 stroll down to the beach. Some excellent local amenities around including the Cornish Pizza Company (delicious) and some great local pubs and shops. Lots of hills in the village so bring your walking boots! We feel so relaxed having spent 5 nights there - we really didn’t want to leave as from the second we stepped through the door it felt like a home from home.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bower Barn. The decor was absolutely gorgeous. We particularly loved the beautiful pictures of the owners dog on the walls. It is clear that the barn has been well looked after and well loved. The barn was spotless, not a thing out of place. We were pleased with the amount of cutlery etc in the drawers. It was so cosy and somehow stayed really warm without the heaters on. We really enjoyed the location. The local bakery was incredible, as was the Cornish Pizza Company around the corner. The local beach was beautiful and quiet. If we ever go back to the area we’ll be staying at Bower Barn again. We couldn’t fault it!

Lovely cottage, perfect for us two and our dog, nice location, easy walk into town or the nearest pubs, (a bit further to the beach, about 20-25mins) The cottage was very clean and tidy, and nicely appointed, a nice welcome pack was really appreciated. The Ceiling downstairs is quite low, so possibly not for someone very tall, but not a problem for us.

We would definitely re-book Bower Barn if we visit St.Agnes again.
