Very good location with excellent local facilities. A well stocked village shop and an excellent local pub serving lovely meals.

We enjoyed our stay at Pentille. A clean, cosy, well equipped cottage. Its in a lovely location in Veryan and we had no problems with parking in front of the property. Bedrooms were nice and the main shower was nice and powerful. The only things we would say was the master bed was very soft and in the height of summer, we only had a thick winter duvet. A thinner option would have been good. Also, the settees were a bit worn. We would stay again.

Pentillie is a charming, sensitively and tastefully restored cottage in a very tranquil setting in Veryan Green. The property retains its original character yet benefits from some discreetly installed smart technology. A lovely outlook from the back garden to watch the setting sun and very close access to the beautiful National Trust beaches of Carne and Pendower with some atmospheric coastal path walks overlooking Gerran’s and Veryan Bays. Despite the weather being relatively cool, cloudy and a little wet for early July, we had a great week here.

Comfortable cottage, practical indoor and outdoor space. Very nicely presented, in a rural setting, but within walking distance of a village shop and pub. Ideal for walkers. Very well equipped. Delightful holiday home.

A lovely, well equipled and tastefully decorated cottage in a great location.

Lovely cottage in a quiet peaceful area but within easy reach of all we wanted to make a fabulous holiday. Well appointed and spotlessly clean, warm and cosy feel, no problem parking and if the sun shines breakfast outside at the front and dinner outside at the back, what could be better, perfect!

A lovely cottage in a great location on the Roseland peninsula. Great walks from Veryan and along the coast in either direction. St Mawes is close by and well worth a visit with good sailing in the sheltered waters of the harbour.

This is a lovely place. New and very well thought out. They have kept the character of the place but with modern ‘convenience’. Watch your step though, as there is lots of ‘character’ with steps and slopes. But a perfect ‘get away’ from the crazy world. Whoever put this place together should slap themselves on the back.

Lovely Cornish cottage. Well located. Fab shower and exceptionally comfy bed.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful village. Excellent location just a few minutes from some nice beaches and coastal walks. It has been nicely refurbished, with a well equipped kitchen, comfy sofas and log burners. There is a patio out the back that looks over the fields and also gets the evening sun.

The location and standard of accommodation. There were plenty of large scale OS maps which were the waterproof type. Super cooking facilities.

Pentillie is a lovely place to stay. I think we were the first guests back in August - it’s a lovely and very rustic property that’s been sympathetically renovated - that means you still get sloping floors and squeaky floor boards!

Fed back a few minor points to the owner but no complaints at all about this place. Lovely village with a nice 10 minute walk to shops in Veryan, lovely countryside and the coast of perfectly walkable for a pint in the pub. Overall a great holiday and a good base for exploring the local area.
