Lovely cottage in a quiet peaceful area but within easy reach of all we wanted to make a fabulous holiday. Well appointed and spotlessly clean, warm and cosy feel, no problem parking and if the sun shines breakfast outside at the front and dinner outside at the back, what could be better, perfect!
Mr Prior May 2022
A lovely cottage in a great location on the Roseland peninsula. Great walks from Veryan and along the coast in either direction. St Mawes is close by and well worth a visit with good sailing in the sheltered waters of the harbour.
Mr Wingfield October 2021
This is a lovely place. New and very well thought out. They have kept the character of the place but with modern ‘convenience’. Watch your step though, as there is lots of ‘character’ with steps and slopes. But a perfect ‘get away’ from the crazy world. Whoever put this place together should slap themselves on the back.
Miss Mullarkey October 2021
Lovely Cornish cottage. Well located. Fab shower and exceptionally comfy bed.
Mrs Miles October 2021
Lovely cottage in a beautiful village. Excellent location just a few minutes from some nice beaches and coastal walks. It has been nicely refurbished, with a well equipped kitchen, comfy sofas and log burners. There is a patio out the back that looks over the fields and also gets the evening sun.
Mrs Ridley October 2021
The location and standard of accommodation. There were plenty of large scale OS maps which were the waterproof type. Super cooking facilities.
Mr Stringer August 2021
Pentillie is a lovely place to stay. I think we were the first guests back in August - it’s a lovely and very rustic property that’s been sympathetically renovated - that means you still get sloping floors and squeaky floor boards!
Fed back a few minor points to the owner but no complaints at all about this place. Lovely village with a nice 10 minute walk to shops in Veryan, lovely countryside and the coast of perfectly walkable for a pint in the pub. Overall a great holiday and a good base for exploring the local area.
Good or bad, we publish all the reviews left by the guests who have stayed in this cottage, with the few exceptions stated in our Review Guidelines.
