Beautiful cottage....clearly well loved and cared for..... location excellent....well equipped....cosy....just spot on for our family, thank you

All fixtures/fittings/equipment to a high spec, a beautiful character cottage brimming with original features, but also equipped to a modern high standard. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Location is also brilliant, with many fabulous eateries within walking distance. Top local food mentions are the Seafood Deli (centre of village), The Taphouse, The Peterville Inn (both en route to the beach) and then Schooners overlooking the beach did amazing beers and pizza. Trevaunance Cove is beautiful (15/20 min walk) and there are many further fabulous beaches all within a few minutes drive from the property. Padstow & St Ives both circa 30-40 mins away, well worth a day out. All in all, absolutely loved our stay, thoroughly recommended....

We really enjoyed Smugglers. A great location and as we were staying outside of high season we were always able to park near the house. This is a delightful home and we really enjoyed our stay despite being there during some mixed weather.

The six of us (four adults; two children of 5 and 3) had an amazing holiday in Smugglers, and would go back in a heartbeat. Perfect location for accessing the village, whilst also secluded on a quiet road where all the buildings are period, giving a real sense of an "authentic" experience. The outside is stunning, with full privacy in both front and back, and the inside is beautifully furnished - adding to the natural character and charm of the cottage with its uneven floors upstairs, lovely stone floor in the kitchen, etc. Whilst there's nothing lacking in terms of comfort and up-to-date equipment, there was never a sense of modern vs traditional: everything blended perfectly. Parking had been our only concern, but even with two cars, there was only one time in 7 days when both cars couldn't park within 50 metres of the house, and even then it was just a short walk from British Road. If our children were much older, sharing the third bedroom might have been more of an issue, but it worked absolutely fine for us. Thoroughly recommended!...

We absolutely loved our stay at Smugglers. We visited in October half term, and it was such a lovely, comfortable and cosy cottage for that time of year. The cottage is in a great location to walk and explore St Agnes and there are several lovely pubs and places to eat. We were a party of 4 adults and 1 child and I’d say that is just right for the size of the cottage. We would love to stay again and we would recommend Smugglers to anyone visiting the area! ...
