Fantastic

Amazing little getaway in Devon with the family! The hosts (who live on site) were extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough to help whenever we needed something (especially in the midst of a heatwave), yet left us to enjoy the property and garden unintruded at all times.

Much more spacious than we expected from the pictures. We had a great time watching the farmer in the next field cutting and bailing up the hay, sat on the deck during the evening sun. Very well equipped, enjoyed cooking on the charcoal bbq too! and comfortable in all aspects: lounging around, eating, and sleeping!

Very close to Greendale farm shop where you can get pretty much everything you'll need, also a great restaurant and animals for the children to walk around and look at. Even closer is the White Horse Inn, we had takeaway pizza which was very good. We also tried the Pig and Pallet in Topsham for a bit of dirty BBQ food, nice little town with a few restaurants and harbour. Short driving distance to a choice of beaches: Exmouth and Dawlish Warren good for sand, Sidmouth lovely too (pebble).

All in all, a wonderful week, and we hope to visit again in future... thank you!

Little Hayes is a lovely holiday lodge. We arrived to a warm welcome from the owners. The standards of comfort, cleanliness and decor were exceptional. Everything we could possibly need had been thought of and provided. I would highly recommend it. The location is great with many attractions nearby. Greendale farm shop is only about a mile down the road and well worth a visit both to shop and dine, plus it has many animals in paddocks and little picnic tables.

Our stay at Little Hayes was fantastic. Location was wonderful, so close to the beaches, Exeter and a very handy farm shop which had everything we needed. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful. The lodge was perfect, amazing views, beautiful interior and a lovely log-fire for the cooler evenings. Thank you for a great stay in Devon.

We had a terrific stay at Little Hayes, our host Liz was always on hand with any queries before and during our stay, not that we felt we needed to as we had everything we needed at the accommodation.

The location is convenient to the big city Exeter nearby and only a short drive to villages like Topsham and beaches like Exmouth/Sidmouth.

Highly recommend this to anyone looking to get out into the countryside with a beautiful comfortable private cabin and access to great things to do that is only a short drive away.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Little Hayes - it's a small property but the owners have made excellent use of the space. It's all very well equipped and really comfortable. The location is excellent - it's quiet with countryside views yet close to a main road giving easy access to nearby towns (we visited Budleigh Salterton, Topsham and Sidmouth). There's also an excellent farm shop and cafe just down the road.
