Gyllyngvase beach in Falmouth is within easy reach  - with a cafe, bar and paddle boarding all on offer, and seasonal lifeguards too.
Take a walk to Swanpool beach which also has a beach cafe, water sports and a restaurant.
Falmouth has a plethora of pubs, restaurants, bars and cafes to enjoy.
