What a lovely cottage! Everything we needed for a relaxing break! Lovely and peaceful and a great location. There is so much to do nearby! Walks on Dartmoor, beach at Whitsand Bay, Looe ( boat trip to see seals) and Polperro - to name just a few! The pubs are really good too and very friendly! Thoroughly recommend whatever the weather! We had such a lovely week!

What a lovely property perfect for three generations. Lovely view and garden .So many places to visit within an hours drive. Owners very helpful. Would love to return.

Nice quiet location with easy access to lots of local activities. Can walk to Tamar River. Local shop in walking distance. Spacious, comfortable accommodation with lovely private garden and views. Owners next door were friendly and helpful.

An absolutely perfect place to spend a few days for peace and quiet with the excellent bonus of wonderful views. Very friendly owners .

Lovely peaceful location with nearby amenities, sweeping views east, very impressed by the sun rises Well appointed spacious cottage with delightful owners based in adjoining property who are in hand to assist

We enjoyed a very peaceful stay at Pitt Farm, yet it is not too remote. Sunny days on the balcony with a glass of wine were a rare treat! Lovely outlook across the valley, very little to disturb you. Property clean and comfortable, owners friendly but not intrusive. Recommended and would visit again.

I understand there is a balance between wastage and risk/caution but I feel that in covid times it would have been reassuring to see new soap dispensers in each bathroom rather than what (soap) has been left behind from previous guests. Maybe having smaller pump containers, washing and refilling between guests would be more economical. I also feel the same about toilet paper. Some rolls had already been started as well as new ones supplied. I am extremely cautious and wary of such things now we are living in covid times. I appreciate that we have no choice in public toilets but when you are paying for accommodation it would be better in my opinion to have fresh for each guest.

We had already decided to take our own supplies so it wasn't any inconvenience to us. I just feel that this kind of attention to detail is appreciated by guests when you are looking to spend time away from home and especially now.

Thank you

This cottage suited our family very well. It’s a good size and nicely laid out for a family. The garden and patio area are nice. It’s well located for exploring the Tamar Valley, the moors, and beaches. The owners were very welcoming.

Beautiful cottage, in idyllic surroundings. The cottage was very spacious with every detail for our comfort and need considered. The owners have thought of everything and it shows in the quality. Perfect for a quiet, relaxing holiday but equally accessible to places of interest for more active walks and adventure. We had a great day out on the Tamar Valley railway to Plymouth. Easy access to some lovely local restaurants, would recommend the White Hart Inn, Chilsworthy. Perfect holiday, hope to return again. Very high standard of accommodation with wifi and popular TV package if you want to use facilities. Excellent kitchen facilities, we really enjoyed cooking a few of nights and we had all the equipment we needed.

Pitt Farm Cottage is the perfect getaway, especially if you have a mix of generations who might like their own space. For once there is reliable WiFi, which extends throughout the property. The 'snug' has it's own TV with Netflix and Disney Plus, a selection of novels and a couple of board games, whilst the main lounge/ diner has a further TV with satellite box and Netflix included, a wood-burner and massive sofa. There is further seating on the raised patio outdoors with extensive views over the garden to the valley and hills beyond. The cottage is well-equipped and owners friendly and helpful. Pitt Farm Cottage is located close to the main road, with a Co-op, chip shop and railway station only a few minutes walk away, yet feels miles from anywhere. It is probably the best property we have stayed at in Cornwall and we have been coming to the county for over 20 years!

Beautifully equipped, spacious feeling cottage. We enjoyed a peaceful and very relaxing break with breakfasts on the patio. The cream tea and flowers on arrival were very welcome indeed. Only a 10 min. walk to the railway station for a trip on the scenic Tamar Valley Line. Looking forward to returning one day.

A beautiful, well equipped and comfortable cottage. Very peaceful and with lovely views. Just the relaxing break we all needed.

Delightful and restful break in beautiful surroundings- really appreciated the kind and thoughtful touches from the host with cream tea on arrival, flowers etc and a fantastically equipped home from home. Hosts were charming and available if you wanted anything

Sunny terrace and view across the valley. Cosy and warm - great that the CH was on all day at a very low setting, so easy to warm up if home during the day. Woodburner was lovely. Friendly hosts - welcoming, but not intrusive.

The best thing is the beautiful views across a valley and wonderful balcony and seating plus a pretty garden. V peaceful. Lots of hot water and warm and comfy beds. Kids snug with own TV also great.
