The cottage was excellent, larger than it appears from the photos, very comfortable with all the facilities required. The owners were welcoming and made our whole stay enjoyable. Our dog especially enjoyed the meadow to exercise in. The location is also an advantage, it's position near the various tourist attractions and amenities like shops/supermarkets but still away from the noise, we felt was ideal. Enjoying a glass of wine one night all we could hear was the wildlife. I would recommend Little Trefenten to anyone looking for a cottage in Cornwall, our first but certainly not our last stay in this cottage.

The owners of the property are lovely, very helpful but also respectful of giving you your space

This is located in a quiet area but easy access to main roads to get to places to visit

Little Trefenten was a wonderful place to stay in. We were made to feel very welcome and the cottage suited us perfectly. The bed was very comfortable and the spa bath an added bonus. The garden and surrounding woodland added to the peace and tranquility. The two pygmy goats and three ducks were fun to watch and the duck eggs were delicious.

Fantastic location with ease of access to coast, Dartmoor and Bodmin moor, all around 25 minutes away.

Stylish cottage with everything a couple would want. Large grounds that our dog enjoyed

Emily and Joe were perfect hosts and ensured our first holiday with our pup was comfortable, smooth and most of all enjoyable. The accommodation was larger than we expected with everything you could possibly need. Outdoors there was plenty of space to explore with some fantastic woodland walks. We felt very relaxed and would certainly recommend Little Trefenten

Absolutely wonderful. Peaceful, beautiful and a great location for lots of day trips to other parts of cornwall. We visited, Bude, Fowey, Looe, St Agnes. Local supermarkets Lidl and waitrose all within a couple of miles. We had a meal out at The Crooked Inn which was fantastic. Emily and her lovely little family were extremely welcoming and respectful of our privacy. The pygmy goats, ducks, walk by the stream and meadow field all on the property were a wonderful addition to our holiday. Thank you so much we will be back.

It was lovely to enter to see the welcome tray generously laid out with flowers and snacks and the most charming welcome note. We felt very spoilt by the carton of milk and ducks eggs (which I assume are from her ducks) that were left in the fridge for us. The grounds are so picturesque with the steps leading to the goats, ducks and pond and we very much enjoyed our walk through their woodlands on the grounds.

If Emily could summon her magic and sort out the very wet Cornish weather we had, it would have been the perfect weekend. :)

We really wish them loads of success with their enterprise.

The property and grounds are fabulous, it was very quiet and relaxing. The family are very welcoming and we will be going back.

I had a lovely break in this beautiful cottage. Made to feel very welcome by the owner, and everything was spotlessly clean. The location of the cottage was perfect for me - very quiet, but close enough to main roads to make travelling in the area easy. I would love to come back again.

The picturesque setting was perfect. The accommodation was immaculate, comfortable and well equipped. The attention to detail by hosts Emily and Joe was amazing. It was like home from home. We will definitely be staying again.

A really lovely cottage with everything you need and some nice extra touches. We had a great stay here and would love to return.
