What a fabulous property and location.

Where do I start with Birchenhayes? Well, it’s a most fabulous place to stay. In a really remote spot in Cornwall bordering the Tamar river, we had a great week staying at this lovely converted barn. Talk about tranquility. The hosts are so welcoming it has everything you possibly need there. Talk about spacious aswell. The champagne and a delicious Cornish cream tea to go with flowers was a lovely touch too. Outstanding scenery allied to nature to die for, we really hope to be back some time in the not too distant future! Pheasants, crows, bats and the regular farmyard favourites ie cows and sheep, this place has everything. It really has. Thank you once again for making this a holiday to remember.

Ps. Not forgetting, on leaving a prize possession af the premises, the hosts sent first class back to me the following day in the post

A peaceful and beautiful spot. The house is very well presented with excellent furnishings and fittings. The house was spotless on arrival and housekeepers always friendly and helpful.
