This is a lovely cottage, completely private with great views. We had a lovely time visiting the many National Trust places in the area as well as Eastbourne and Bexhill On Sea. The weather was perfect and on the odd day it was very hot the owner provided us with a cooling fan which made a huge difference. It was always nice to come back to the cottage and relax outside with a glass of wine. We hope to be back some day....

Hill Farm Cottage is a little gem. It is very comfortable and the setting is gorgeous. It is well located for travelling the area, but also lovely to have a quiet day - we did both. The owners are friendly and helpful, but also leave you to enjoy your stay. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and there is lots of information about the area. Hill farm cottage is a lovely clean and comfortable cottage. It is in a very quiet location (just what we needed) but it is still close to civilization. Very good base for sightseeing. We enjoyed watching the wild life in the garden especially the pheasants. We also saw deer, squirrels and many small birds. I would not hesitate to recommend it and would love to come back again. ...

A very nice cottage for 2. Excellent views of the countryside and nice terrace to sit outside to enjoy the pheasants, squirrels and rabbits. A nice place to be away from the daily hustle and bustle. We followed some dinner suggestions from the owners: the White Hart, the Squirrel Inn and the Ash Tree Inn which are all close by. We visited several National Trust sites that were within a 1-hour drive from the cottage. Hill Farm Cottage is a very nice accommodation to visit again. The owners were very welcoming....
