A wonderfully peaceful cottage, sympathetically decorated and furnished, full of atmosphere. Very comfy beds, and spotlessly clean. Only a saunter from the Grove Inn (recommended for lunch, but book to be safe as seating is limited). Dark skies so that the milky way was visible on cloudless nights. Access to the village is through narrow lanes in all directions. No village shop, but South Molton isn't far. We enjoyed our stay enormously and wish we had booked longer there.

The house was very comfortable and well equipped. The garden was lovely and ideal for our dog who loved it. The location was very peaceful and great for relaxing while still being close to places to visit.

Excellent cottage in a superb village, very comfortable with a wonderful atmosphere and friendly chatty neighbours, hugely recommend

Don’t book unless you want to clean before you begin your holiday

We are really sorry to hear your feedback. We of course shared your feedback with the owners at the time who were not able to find the cleanliness points and we so wish that we had heard from you at the time so that we could investigate. We hope that you had a lovely time overall. Sarah, Customer Support

East Wells was a wonderful place for three generations of our family to gather. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and great for cycling and walking. The North Devon beaches are perfect for children and adults alike. There was something for everyone in our family to enjoy. If you are looking for a tranquil, beautiful place for a holiday, East Wells provides that in abundance.

Large and comfy house in midst of rural North Devon. Do need to drive carefully along the narrow roads. Friendly neighbours. Very convenient and friendly pub
