The main bedroom is a wonderfully generous room offering a perfect place to recharge at the end of a day.

The shower cubicle is oversized for maximum space and luxury. Please note you have to step up and out of the shower.
The main bathroom sits between both of the bedrooms on the ground level.
Bedroom 2 has 'zip and link' beds, so can be either 2' 6" twins that are perfect for children or a king-size double bed when zipped together.
Another bedroom that benefits from multiple windows.
The mezzanine area has a single bed. Owing to it being a bed on the open mezzanine level this room would suit a teenager.
The mezzanine area is not enclosed so the laughter can be heard throughout the barn as the competition around the table-football heats up.
This barn is for all the family including your trusty four-legged friend.

The Barn is accessed via the lower front door, which is your entry door on arrival. The small guest garden to the front of the barn is not fully enclosed.
Time to walk and talk, enjoy the numerous local walks, not forgetting Dartmoor National Park.
Please hold onto the rail as you head up the steps.

Rural bliss.
The path up to the barn from your own private entrance and parking area. Your area is clearly marked for your enjoyment. Please note that there are steps up from the parking area and the ground is uneven.
The barn sits far enough away from the owners, who are on hand should you require help.
Head up to Brentor Church and be rewarded by this wonderful view, then head back into Tavistock for a coffee.
Dartmoor National Park offers the best of the outdoors and should be explored.
With Dartmoor and the Drake Trail minutes from the barn, remember there is an outhouse to keep your bikes safe and secure.
Pretty Tavistock has some lovely riverside walks.
The ancient Pannier Market in Tavistock takes place every Tuesday and Saturday.

Par contre le wifi est de mauvaise qualité et Il est fort dommage que l’isolation ne This barn has been furnished with great taste and has many advantages: a magnificent and spacious bathroom, a large kitchen where all the equipment necessary for preparing delicious meals is present. The second shower and toilet are also a plus. The rooms are pleasant. On the other hand, the wifi is of poor quality and it is a shame that the insulation is not good both for the noise and for the heat which escapes, especially since the heating turns off automatically during the night. We suffered a lot from the cold because the house could not warm up during the day and the mornings were particularly difficult. We came at a fairly rainy time and the steps leading up to the house were extremely slippery. This barn is most likely an excellent place to stay in the summer but we would not recommend it for the winter....

We were sorry that you experienced some problems with the heating but we are glad the owner was able to assist you by adjusting the timings during your stay. Being that the property is a converted barn, it has large open roof area which can take longer to heat in the Winter months. A lovely place to stay. Burrator reservoir is a must to visit. Deli in village lovely food to buy and handy in closeness with the other shops. Did not have to drive far to get to somewhere. Moor is lovely to go for as long a walk as you want. We ate in every night as kitchen was so well equipped and cheaper than eating out at this present time....
