Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this property.

It is a beautiful, quaint cottage in the heart of a very pretty village. Fantastic local pub, easily accessible to stunning walks on Dartmoor, friendly neighbours. We really enjoyed our 3 days.

Excellent location for walks and exploring, very good pub just footsteps away and log burner in lounge. Very comfortable lounge furniture. Very well equipped kitchen. Helpful owners. Lovely welcome basket on arrival, thanks!

Lydford is a delightful village and well placed for trips to the north and south coasts, as well as walks on Dartmoor.

This was one of the nicest cottages I have had the pleasure of staying in.

The Location was excellent - access to the Granite Way nearby is great for Dog Walks in Wet Weather as it's hard surfaced. The Local Pub 300 yards away was excellent and very Dog Friendly.

We had a superb stay at Rose cottage. It is extremely well equipped, and charming, and on arrival, there was a very thoughtful welcome package. The village has a wonderful pub, serving delicious food. All in all, a wonderful stay, would definitely go again!
