Old Sandpitts is a lovely property, full equipped and suitable for a family. I loved both the old style of the house and the new furniture, heaters, the shower and the windows of the house. My children asked me if we can buy the cottage too! They really felt like at home. You can enjoy going around the Jurassic Coast and Dorset or simply stay in the cottage and relax! A beautiful quiet cottage that was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It was lovely to watch the abundant wild life from the cottage and a good base to visit local places of interest. Beautiful cottage in a peaceful location. Cottage has everything you could want. It is tastefully decorated and the log burner is a fabulous addition. There is a lovely garden where you can sit and listen to the bird song. There is a pub within an easy 15 minute walk, although can’t comment on its offering as it was closed during our stay. However, if you don’t mind a little drive, the New Inn at Stoke Abbott is worth a visit, great food and lovely garden. I would highly recommend this cottage as somewhere to stay if you want to get away from it all. ...

This cottage is comfortable, spacious and extremely peaceful. The furniture and fixtures are of good quality and all the appliances were easy to use.There is excellent walking both coastal and inland with several long distance trails nearby.
