Unfortunately the weather wasn’t very kind to us. It wasn’t always easy to regulate the temperature in the pod. However we was offered an extra heater from our host. Who we met and was very nice and accommodating. We were happy That the pod was all by self and we had no other neighbours. Would highly recommend this to friends and already have recommended it to a daughter. Would love to stay there again in sunny conditions as I think it would be perfect. that the pod was all by self and we had no other neighbours. Would Love to stay there in sunny conditions to make use of the barbecue and picnic area in the front. The only discomfort for me was the bed but other than that the place is perfect for two people.

The pod was gorgeous and we would not hesitate to recommend it. The location was perfect and we will definitely be back. Our dog loved the walks and the peace and quiet was just what we needed. The equipment and furnishings were first class and of good quality. The en-suite was spotlessly clean which to us is essential.

Pendragon Pod was the perfect place for my short getaway, one woman and her dog! A lovely space with a comfortable bed and all the equipment I could possibly have needed. It was spotless which was reassuring in these strange Covid times! The views are stunning and there are lots of wonderful walks right from the door and of course many local attractions within a short drive. A calm and tranquil place, I think I only heard 1 car and a couple of horses pass by the whole time I was there. The hosts are charming, friendly and helpful, there if you need them but extremely discreet if you don't. The thoughtful welcome gifts were a lovely surprise. I can highly recommend Pendragon Pod and would be happy to return another time.

We had a lovely few days here in early September with our dog. The pod was just as described. Comfortable, well equipped and surprisingly spacious - relatively speaking! Could be a bit chilly in the mornings but the little radiator soon took the edge off that. Useful base for exploring the local area, some good coastal walks around Seatown and of course up to Golden Cap, then back here in the evening for a beer by the fire pit!

It’s a hidden gem! With all UK staycation options in high demand this summer due to COVID it took a lot of searching to find availability at this Pod and I am SO glad we persevered. It really is off the beaten track; down a long, winding beautiful country track. The pod really is as good as it looks from the photos, if not better! It has been designed to perfection; with great contemporary country style, amazing attention to detail and it really does make the most of the space! The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was larger than we'd expected and the kitchen had all we needed. We loved spending our long evenings with the bbq melting marshmallows. We even had a welcome package of a sweet note, yummy local biscuits and dog treats for our very happy pup! When we were struggling with the hob (even though the instructions were super clear - our fault not theirs) the owners were over in a flash and showed us the ropes. If you bring a dog they have lots of space to roam or there is a long lead you can use in case your pooch isn’t so great with recall (like ours!). We really can’t wait to return to this little slice of heaven which was much needed - so many of our friends and colleagues have asked for the link too!! Thank you Sarah & Malcolm for a wonderful stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Pendragon Pod. It is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated with every thing you need provided. The space has really been put to good use to provide everything you need without feeling at all cluttered. Extras like the fire pit and logs were a lovely feature. The pictures don't really do justice to how isolated you are and separate from the main house in your own area right next to an area of woodland - and the view from the pod is also much more impressive once there! It is situated at the very end of a long lane so you are truly away from it all (although Axminster is only about a 10 min drive with a Tesco, petrol station and restaurants). Wanting some time away in London this was absolutely perfect. The hosts provided details of walks nearby which we didn't have time to do but really appreciated them being offered. We would definitely go back as it's also an ideal point to explore the Jurassic Coast generally. Highly recommended!

A beautifully styled retreat, with everything you could possibly need for a short stay. Very friendly and hospitable hosts, who provided a lovely welcome pack and much appreciated local walks information. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway with a wonderful view. Already planning a return visit.
