Hosts were delightful. Cabin is lovely and I would defo return but bearing in mind this was a winter booking, in a fairly remote and exposed location. I would add the following. Very limited cooking and heating facilities. No tv or sound system, no proper oven, no extractor, no freezer, no dishwasher. Not really viable for more than a couple. I stress we had a great time in a lovely cabin but these points need to be considered.

Thanks for reviewing Stibb Hollow Cabin - we're really pleased you had a great time overall. The property is rural which we feel adds to the peace and quiet which is part of its charm. As one of our Glamping properties the other part of it's charm is it's back to basics quality (albeit with a hint of luxury) - there is an electric hob, mini oven, slow cooker, microwave and fridge and a wonderful warming wood-burner which adds to the cosiness whatever the time of year. If you're looking for some additional facilities in the future however please don't hesitate to get in touch and we'd be happy to help you find the perfect property. Bryony, Customer Support

We had the most wonderful stay...!!! The hosts are there if you need them and were so lovely with the children, the cabin is spotless and fitted out so beautifully. I could move in!! The location is perfect for reaching the beach, we had lovely trips to Clovelly and Bude. We had an amazing cycle to Bideford down the Tarka Trail, it's really easy to hire bikes in Torrington.
It's the most perfect place to relax and unwind, so peaceful in the most gorgeous setting and the children absolutely loved feeding the hens, sheep and playing with Buster the dog - we're all missing him!
It has everything I love about camping ( the outdoors!) with everything I love about a luxury apartment - beautiful bedding, hot shower, everything you need in the kitchen.
We will be returning as soon as we can!

We loved our stay. Thank you so much to the owners who were there if we needed anything and made our stay perfect. The cabin was lovely and warm and gave us a lovely first holiday with our 9 week old son and two year old had so much fun with the sheep and chickens every day! We had lots of easy adventures to the beach too! Would highly recommend!

Apart from providing additional heating and very poor access to footpaths we enjoyed our stay which had everything we wanted and we felt very safe as the cleanliness was excellent

Beautiful cabin, in a beautiful setting. The hosts were lovely and friendly. A fantastic welcome hamper on arrival. Stunning decor, comfortable beds and lovely shower! The cabin is well equipped. Everything has been thought of.
Such a relaxing and calming environment. Can’t wait to return again soon.

We had such a lovely week at Stibb Hollow cabin. The cabin itself was so comfortable, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It's in an idyllic setting, with views over the countryside. Our two children loved feeding the chickens and sheep everyday and playing with Buster the lab (they're still talking about him now!). We enjoyed days out at the beach then coming back for a BBQ in the garden. Overall, a perfect family holiday and we'll definitely be back!

Had an amazingly relaxing week away. Just what was needed. The cabin was beautiful and fully equipped with everything you need. Just beautiful. Will definitely be going back.

Just back from an absolutely wonderful week at Stibb Hollow Cabin. We were the third family in since it was completed and it is immaculate and even better than it looks in the photos, with luxurious touches like thick fluffy white towels and crisp 100% cotton bed sheets.
From the minute we arrived Nikki and Matt made us incredibly welcome and introduced us to all the animals. Our 3 year old absolutely adored the hand reared very friendly sheep (particularly Chunky) and Matt kindly fetched more and more feed that the kids constantly asked for. Sorry if the girls need to go on a diet. Our 7 year old is massively missing Buster their very friendly and gentle black Labrador.
The cabin is perfectly located for so many day trips, we cycled large chunks of the Tarka trail and visited Croyde Bay, Appledore, Instow and Westward Ho for beach visits. Clovelly is well worth a visit.
We can't wait to go back.

It’s even more Wow than it appeared on the website. Checking in was easy and there is a lot love about this place, including an outside fire pit, a comfortable sofa, and a fire burner inside for your cosy evening...it’s a great space for family with fresh egg pick every morning and feed the sheep in the field adjacent.... A must do on the bucket list!!!
