Beautiful location, in a very peaceful surroundings. House is well equipped with everything you need, also a start up package of washing up liquid, washing machine pods, tea & coffee etc. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

Town barn is a lovely property very comfortable and well equipped. If you want a quiet holiday then this is an ideal property to go to. It is in a lovely little village but quite away from amenities shops, pub etc. we found we had to travel a distance to get anywhere

A thoroughly lovely cottage which we all enjoyed staying in. It was cosy, spacious, comfortable and beautifully clean. Also very convenient for beaches but still off the beaten track. Perfect!

Town Barn had everything we could possibly have needed for the week. It was comfortable, well furnished and very well equipped.

Lovely spacious and very comfortable cottage at the end of a steep lane. Garden nice but beware of drop. Had everything we needed for a lovely week away.

Lovely cottage in a very peaceful village surrounded by fields and cows! Perfect layout for families, lovely garden altho if you have young, mobile children please be careful in the garden as it slopes down quite considerably into plants and stinging nettles which is not shown in the description or mentioned in the details. Also we were disappointed with the BBQ which we did not use as it was very small for a family of four to six people and very rusty. It was no way suitable to cook anything on there, the racks were brown with rust! Despite this, we had a fabulous week there and I would be more than happy to go back ??

Thanks so much for sharing your lovely review - we're delighted that so many aspects of Town Barn worked well for your family. We do try and describe our properties as accurately as possible and advise caution around the slopes in the garden. We're sorry that the BBQ wasn't suitable; you'll be pleased to know that the owners have since provided a larger model, more suited to bigger groups. It's wonderful to read that you hope to return and we very much look forward to welcoming you back soon. Julie, Customer Support

Very comfortable and well-equipped in a quiet location. Nice to have a walk you can do from the door. We enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful, out of the way, home from home.

Town Barn is a beautiful cottage, the master bedroom is spacious and the upstair twin room is perfect for children. The garden however is what truly makes this cottage, it looks out onto beautiful fields and waking up everyday to birdsong and the cows mooing is extremely relaxing and peaceful. You are only 20 minutes away from general tourist villages and attraction, but being able to truly enjoy the countryside and take a wander down to the river/brook makes this a perfect retreat to come home too.

We absolutely loved our stay at Town Barn. Our dog loved the local footpath walks and the grassy outdoor area (we live in London, so he was quite pleased being in the country). The kitchen had everything you need to make a delicious meal and everything was clean and spotless. The WiFi was also great as I was working remotely during my stay here.
