Crantock Beach one of the finest and unspoiled in this part of Cornwall, we will return!
Mrs Ainsworth October 2020
What a wow house! From the moment we arrived we felt so comfortable. A lovely greeting card and a lovely carrot cake upon arrival, with fresh milk in the fridge and tea, coffee, sugar to settle us in. Roz the owner popped round to say hello and welcome us & offer information to us if we needed it.
It was fabulous exploring the house, all the different rooms, there was 5 of us visiting and the 3 bedrooms we used were extremely comfortable, 2 with ensuite bathrooms and a family bathroom which my daughter used as her ensuite, so it worked out perfectly, The toilet / shower room downstairs was a godsend for me due to my recent knee operations.
The bedroom at the top of the stairs had been sectioned off, prob due to covid and keeping it clean also their wasn't any need to be using that room because their was only 5 of us staying. although we did pop our heads in and peek over the chain, it did look lovely from what we could see.
The big conservatory at the front of the house was our favourite room for all of us to get together for meals and family games nights around the big table. We had the use of Alexa which was fun to use. The conservatory was huge and had lovely seating areas at both ends that you could relax and lounge in, or if you wanted to be directly in the sun, sun loungers outside the window on the patio was a great way to Catch the sunrays and also watch the stars at night.
The patio and garden area, was really lovely, we had use of the gas BBQ which we used on our last day which came supplied with gas. In the shed we found body boards which we were allowed to take down to the beach with us.
The kitchen/dining room had everything you needed, right down to washing up liquid /Sponge /t. Towels. The amount of kitchen utensils was fabulous, really no need to bring anything with you. Absolutely loved the cooker it was absolutely huge and so easy to use. We didn't use the dishwasher washer and dryer that was available. The fridge freezer had lots of room, a really good size with lots of freezer compartments. (noticed in the storage cupboard their was stuff there for pets too if you had one)
The lounge room was so cosy on the colder nights, watching TV and sitting in front of the log burner., really easy to use and clean. Plenty of wood supplied.
Plenty of books and literature to read if you forget your books.
Parking outside the house and up the lane at the side can be quite tricky to negotiate as it's very narrow, especially if other residents are already parked in their designated parking spots.
Crantock beach Is approx 7 mins walk or a couple minutes.
Crantock village is 1 min walk with 2 lovely pubs, a cafe/ avillage post office /shop/ bus stop./Church. When you come into the village and pass through, go up the lane to the top and their are 2 caravan /camping sites on the left with amenities including a shop and chippy.

Perfect cottage to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Well equipped cottage and the log burner was an added bonus. After only a day we felt like we had been there a week and just totally relaxed. Beds were so comfortable that we both slept like logs.

Excellent cottage in a good location near the village and beach. Attention from Ros, the owner, pre, during and post our visit was top notch including taking in our food delivery when our arrival was delayed! The cottage is very well equipped and the abundance of bathrooms for our family, which included two single adults, was a bonus.

The cottage was a great place to stay for our family. Perfect location in the heart of Crantock which is a lovely village.
Mr Matthews August 2020
What a wonderful stay. The property is beautiful and Crantock is such a pretty village. We felt miles away from our busy lives, and yet there was a pub and an ice cream shop metres from our front door. We surfed, paddle boarded, walked the coastal paths and then ate far too much clotted cream! Roz was so friendly and welcoming. The cottage is very well equipped, impeccably decorated and the local information leaflets were so helpful. The carrot cake and welcome card on arrival was such a kind gesture. Thank you for providing us with the perfect holiday.

Langurra is in the perfect location. With a gorgeous stroll down to the wonderful Crantock Beach - we hardly moved our car! The property is clean, well equipped, comfortable and has a very pretty patio - we immediately relaxed. Roz & Tim were available to answer questions if we had any. We had super family holiday - loved it!
