A home away from home! Claire and Tom provided an excellent standard of all furnishings, equipment, coffee machine, bed, bedlinen, towels and lovely bathroom toiletries, lots of nice touches, also yoga mat and weights were super.
The book illustrating the history of the house restoration was an interesting read and the detailed general information on the local area also really helpful.
It was great to discover a beautifully furnished dog friendly house. As responsible dog owners, this means alot to us and we always take great care in leaving a place as we found it.
Thank you !!

Absolutely beautiful property with lots of lovely extra touches, in easy reach of huge parts of the gorgeous Devon coast. Great for a family getaway.

Old Mill House is a delightful cottage that is steeped in history. It is very well maintained, with excellent facilities. The BBQ area is perfect for alfresco dinning. The cottage is well situated, with Newton Abbot close by for food etc. There are several good pubs within a short distance, and it is only a few minutes drive from the coast.

Beautiful 500 year old cottage. Very clean, lovely decor and very well equipped. Peaceful location. A little difficult exiting drive onto lane, as very narrow, and if wanting to turn right from drive you have to turn left and turn around further down lane. Conclusion........... lovely holiday home.

Cosy cottage in a good location. We would return.

We had the best stay at the Old Mill House. Every detail had been thought about to make our stay just perfect. There was a basket with lovely wooden toys in for children which our little girl loved as well as the workout basket which is also a great touch. The books that are in the house have all been thought out thoroughly and tastefully. Again with children’s books as well as adult books. My favourite was probably the history of the cottage which was absolutely amazing to read. It was the little things like that, that really added the magic touch to the cottage. There were even children’s bath toys in the bathroom! The decor is absolutely beautiful and everything was in really good condition. The guide book for your stay has all the answers to any questions you would have. Beaches and things to do are all so close, there is something for everyone. All round a brilliant stay!.

Fantastic cottage to enjoy a relaxing week in Devon. The outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying the sun and the wood burning stove was great for taking the chill off the September evenings. Plenty to see and do in the area too!

Absolutely fantastic property. Loved outdoor furniture, rooms and coffee machine was a big hit with the whole family. Extra touches (basket of toys, gym equipment) were great.
