This is truly wonderful property in the most amazing location. No need to go out for the day as chilling in the garden or conservatory overlooking the Tamar River is relaxing and peaceful. We are definitely going to return and have already booked for 2023. Thank you to the owner Sandy for sharing this very special gem in Cornwall.

The position of the Boat House is quite extraordinary, it’s worth spending time just sitting watching the constantly changing sky and river. And seeing dawn break in a mist is spectacular.

The Boat House is a beautiful and well equipped place to stay in. The owner has put a lot of thought into providing a comfortable and relaxing place to stay; especially welcome with the weather we had. The conservatory is a real bonus and a great place to sit and watch the river. It was very atmospheric sitting in there with the wind howling and the rain beating down!!!

Fabulous views of the ever changing Tamar , a homely and welcoming ,get away from it all .

The Boat House is in a stunning position located right on the estuary. Certainly the conservatory promotes the ambiance of this cottage. Within the building you have everything you need and comfort must be mentioned. The sofas and beds were so comfortable. This must be one of the first holidays when we arrived and it was lovely and warm inside. How often have we been welcomed and the building is cold. The owners ensure your happy with a phone call during your stay and are lovely. We were greeted with a surprise on the kitchen table. The property is clean and Covid support in place. QR code for track and trace on entry and a well explained sheet on staying safe and how looking after the cottage during the stay and departure. Obviously many ornaments have had to be removed, but the feel of warmth and welcome still remains. Finally, if you use Wi-Fi a lot, bear in mind that streaming is not possible. We tried using the service but to no avail and in fact reverted back to our mobile service. The owner is aware of this. So we are now home and relaxed, happy. Thank-you to the owners of The Boathouse.

Thanks so much for your feedback and we're so pleased that you had a comfortable stay. We advertise The Boat House as having a basic WiFi package, which is ideal for surfing the web and for social media, unfortunately it's not so good for streaming. If this is something that is an important factor for your holiday, our knowledgeble Sales Team would be more than happy to help point you in the direction of properties that do offer this facility. Fabulous property with amazing views. Every window is a pleasure to look out of. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the conservatory watching the boats and wildlife. We even had a few clear nights, great place for star gazing. Can't wait to book this property again, will definitely be returning.

House is lovely and in an absolutely amazing location. The estuary view changes all the time with the tide, weather and time of day and we never tired of looking at it! We would definitely recommend. Missing it already! Brian & Anna

Loved this cottage so much that we have booked again for next year. Absolutely loved waking up to the views and the peacefulness of the location. Loved exploring the river on our Kayak and the kids loved crabbing off the side of the house!

We feel the bedroom with the ensuite should have bunk beds instead of a single bed to make it a family room and bedroom 3 should be a double only, rather than a double with a bunk bed above with a ladder. This would be much more comfortable. Also on your web site it states nearest pub is 1.5 miles away whereas in fact it is a 39 minute drive away, and only 1.5 miles if you can fly across water! This needs to be corrected a source it is misleading. Apart from these points we had a wonderful time in a lovely location, thank you! Paddle board lesson from Mel was brilliant
