Incredible old cottage in a great location in Boscastle. We had a wonderful week there exploring the coastal walks and enjoying the delicious cafes, pubs, and restaurants in the village. The cottage has everything you need and a very comfy bed!
Ms. Snape-Tobin September 2023
A well equiped cottage. Really good for the dog with hard floors throughout (nice on a hot day). A little small for four people but perfect for two adults and a dog!
Mr Henty August 2023
We had a lovely stay. Once you get used to the sloping floors upstairs it really is a lovely cottage in a great location. Parking round the corner was very useful, as was the shop. Some lovely walks with the dog as well. It’s a lovely part of the world. House would be lovely in the winter with the fire going.
Dr Moore July 2023
Excellent Cottage in a great location. Car parking space is a bonus in a small village where parking is generally limited. Appliances are off a high standard and capsule coffee machine is great.
Mrs Hudson May 2023
This cottage personifies everything you would expect and hope for in a building of this age, some uneven flooring and walls and a lovely log burner set in an inglenook fireplace which give it quaint and charm in equal measures. However it has been fully modernized with a really well equipped kitchen. A great location in the heart of the village on a quiet road. I marked the location as very good rather than excellent as it is set on a very steep hill and may not suit people with walking difficulties. The parking provided is at the top of the hill about 70 yards from the house in a small private grassed area and is ideal. There is parking on the road but it is very narrow so the field option to park is a bonus. Would definitely stay again

A beautiful cottage, previously part of an old pub. This is perfect if you want a quiet, cosy relaxing stay in Boscastle. You can't go wrong with Kiddlewinks. Kitchen amenities are fully covered, including all the crockery and cutlery you would ever need. The bed was comfortable. Just watch the door frames if you are tall. The Napolean Pub is just a 60 second walk. There is also a convenience store 3 or 4 minutes walk away, as well as the shops down in the bottom part village selling local and fresh goods. The historic harbour is also at the bottom, with the Boscastle Blowhole in action with the changing of the tides. You'll hear it before you see it. This is a tranquil stay.

A lovely cottage, with lots of charm. It is very well equipped and thought out. It's a long way up the hill from Boscastle but if you like a good walk it's no problem!
Ms Lord August 2022
Kiddlewinks was the perfect base for our family of four this summer. Cup of tea on the bench, watching the morning sun play over the hills while planning your day’s adventures, is the best thing ever.
Mrs Haining July 2022
If you’re looking for a character property to stay in, choose this one! Fabulous Cottage would stay again!
Mrs Crank April 2022
Fantastic stay at Kiddlewinks! The house was super clean and had everything we needed, a washer/dryer was a welcome addition too! Lovely and cosy, the real fire was lovely and we made good use of the bench outside for alfresco drinks in the sunshine. Would highly recommend.
Mrs Benn August 2021
We enjoyed the cottage, it had everything we need for our stay and the location was wonderful. Just a shame about the lack of parking.
Mrs Mansfield July 2021
Kiddlewinks is a lovely little cottage, perfect for a quiet get away. Well equipped and very clean. It was a very hot week when we stayed and the cottage offered a lovely cool place to come back to in the afternoons. It could possibly feel a bit cold for a winter stay as there was evidence of damp on some of the walls. The downside is the parking , the cottage is on a narrow steep hill with very limited parking, it’s half a miles walk from the carpark in the harbour if no parking can be found nearby. Best suited for adults as there is no outside space.

Thanks so much for your review and we're so pleased that you enjoyed your time at this charming property. We advertise Kiddlewinks as having parking on road and, like you have stated, there is a public car park just down the hill should it be needed. We have had no reports with regards to the cold or damp during the winter months but we'll certainly keep an eye . Tressa, Customer Support
Ms Vernon June 2021
Cottage is lovely, exceptionally clean, every utensil you could need is available in the kitchen... beds really comfortable.
Location, cottage situated on very steep hill, 10-15 min walk downhill from Boscastle Harbour. Very steep route back to cottage. Get a taxi back up the route...
