We had a wonderful stay at Curlew. It is a beautiful shepherd's hut with everything you could need for a week-long stay. We were especially pleased with the amount of storage in such a small space. We were able to pack away all our food and clothes without any problems.

The hot tub and fire pit were particular treats and we enjoyed many an evening enjoying the view and the sound of the Curlews.

Curlew Shepherds Hut is a perfect place to escape from city crazyness. Enjoying privacy in the middle of nature with the comfort of a hotel is an exfraordinary experience.

October 2019

The Curlew Shepherd's Hut is a commercial design by a Somerset company, Blackdown. They are a high quality hut and the interior design is very good. Of course, they provide very compact living space but, for two people, it doesn't feel cramped even when the weather is poor and you cannot leave the double doors open.

The site of the Curlew Hut is really fantastic. It is a very private site with wonderful views over the river Camel - simply magic. Apart from a visit from the owners on arrival, you are left completely alone although if you had any problems, I am certain they would respond promptly and helpfully. There is mobile phone reception and they answer text messages very quickly.

Gorgeous little shepherds hut, with luxurious touches, cedarwood hot tub was divine, stunning views, although there was another hut in the opposite corner of the field, we felt like we were the only people for miles.

September 2019

Curlew Shepherd’s Hut is beautiful. Finished to a high level of quality with great fixtures and fittings, and gorgeous soft furnishings. We adored everything about Curlew. The stunning location and view, the privacy, the high quality and gorgeous interior and the lovely cedar hot tub. Most of all, the constant plaintiff calls of the curlews on the estuary. Curlew definitely didn’t disappoint.
