As a disabled person, we found the owners very accommodating to my needs and were able meet our additional requests with no problem. They are friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was the best we could possibly have. The accommodation was better than expected. The house is modern and an unusual design, beautiful and comfortable, with furniture and fittings that are obviously very high quality. We had a lovely stay, thank you.

We had a wonderful week of luxury at Penlowen House, and would love to stay again. The house has everything you need, and the sauna and steam room was a lovely extra. The surrounding countryside is great, and we particularly liked the Helford Estuary, where we caught the little ferry and had a wonderful walk to Trebah Gardens. If you're looking for a quiet location not far from the coast in a great property, then Penlowen House is a must, we have been renting self catering cottages for over 20 years and this is one of the best places we have stayed in. Highly recommend.

Thank you for your lovely feedback for Penlowen House. It is brilliant to read that this is one of the best that you have stayed in over the years. We do hope to welcome you back in the future. Sarah, Customer Support

This is probably the best property we have stayed in. Elizabeth and Robert have done a truly magnificent job building their house.

Elizabeth came and introduced herself (socially distanced) and had a chat. Said to text or call if we needed anything or had a problem. We couldn't think of a thing they hadn't !

An outstanding holiday experience. So peaceful.

Thank you. We will be back soon.

We have stayed in many self catering cottages and Penlowen House is definately up there with the best. It is just as the photos and description lead you to believe. The decor and build of the house is superb with every possible comfort and amenity you should require. Its a lovely rural, quiet setting from which to explore the Lizard with Robert and Elizabeth on hand should you need any assistance. Our highlights were the circular walk from stunning Kynance Cove to Housel Bay and a swim back at Kynance Cove. Coverack, breakfast at The Harbour Lights Cafe and later take away fish and chips as the sun goes down from the old Lifeboat cafe , Helford Estuary and the walk to Dennis Head back via Manaccan and a tour of the Minack Theatre to name a few!

We absolutely loved our stay at Penlowen House, totally luxurious and relaxing and loved the remoteness but also that we got to explore some beautiful parts of Cornwall. Would definitely stay again.

We have stayed in many self catering homes in Cornwall but Penlowen House really took our breath away. We relaxed the minute we walked in the door. The owners were very welcoming but the property itself, with its large windows, light and airy feel, impeccably clean and high standard of decor stole the show. We have are a family of 5 and it accommodated us all very well. We wil definitely be staying at Penlowen House again.

We had a lovely stay at Penlowen House. The location was beautifully quiet and we enjoyed the peaceful mornings outside with our breakfast. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. All the facilities were fantastic with a lovely modern kitchen and bathrooms but our favourite bit was definitely the steam room and sauna! Thank you for a lovely stay and we hope to return in the future.

Elisabeth and her family, who on Penlowen, have been lovely and a pleasure to deal with.

If you are looking for a week or two of luxury living in a modern, light and spacious house with a quiet and relaxing location away from it all then Penlowen House is for you. A fantastic property, the best we have ever stayed in over 20 years of holidays. Book now, seeing is believing and you won't be dissappointed.

The best holiday let we have ever experienced in 50 years! Thank you so much to the owners and Classic Cottages.

Our family have been on holiday to Cornwall for many many years . Penlowen House is a fantastic property to stay and all credit to the owners for creating such a beautiful home. Simply stunning!!!!!!!!! The Mann family.
