September 2019

Recently renovated Tremayne Farm House has had no expense spared! Original features including the granite floor in the kitchen and a granite fireplace in the lounge are mixed with the new and the result is just beautiful.

The kitchen, full of high end equipment was a pleasure to cook in with a fantastic large island and stools which we used at breakfast time and a double oven range with a bonus of an induction hob which was brilliant to use. We especially appreciated the wok. It is the first time we have found a holiday rental that has had one, we always bring ours from home (in fact it is the first thing that gets packed in the car). The elegant dining room was a pleasure to eat in at the end of each day. With the large table for all the family and an open fireplace we could just imagine it all at Christmastime. The tree twinkling with lights and decorations, the table laid for a family celebration, a fire burning in the grate, a recipe which would make for a very special time indeed...….! We loved the light filled lounge and although we had a week of great weather (Indian Summer week) we could not resisting snuggling up in front of the log burner for a couple evenings. The Master Bedroom was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Before retiring to bed we popped out to the garden a few times, with no light pollution at the Farm House the night skies were just amazing, we even saw shooting stars.

Rocky and Bella, Alison and John's friendly spaniels were a delight to have around on the odd occasion they decided to visit us. My wife fell in love with Rocky as he smiles at you!

The welcoming personal touches were lovely and the milk in the fridge very much appreciated. Alison has thought of so many things at Tremayne that we have never found at other houses that we could not fail to be impressed, from the extensive equipment in the kitchen, foil, clingfilm, dishwasher tablets, products for the washing machine (even a tub of Vanish), spare toilet rolls in every facility to LED plug in nightlights on the landing - the list could go on ….!

We had a wonderful relaxing comfortable stay, in a very peaceful setting surrounded by nature - we will be back.

August 2019

We spent the week at Tremayne farm house and our stay with our 2 boys was amazing. Tremayne has been beautifully renovated, with lots of character and has everything that you would need. We arrived to some lovely personal touches and the lovely Alison had even put milk in the fridge. The farm was spotless with the most comfy beds and beautiful furniture. We loved exploring the area with Helford, Kynance cove then spending a lovely day at Church cove, about 15 mins away. Gear farm is also worth a visit for the pasties on Alison’s recommendation. We would love to go back to Tremayne our week wasn’t long enough!
