Well equipped and clean cottage , very spacious, would definitely recommend a stay.

This is a lovely cottage for a family holiday. Beautiful views and well located.

Very convenient for our purposes as it was close to Exeter, where we have family, and beaches.

My husband and I think this is one of the best equipped cottages we have used over many years with Classic. We came last year and find little 'tweaks' to furnishing have made it even better. We were warm and cosy. Staircase is a challenge, but we were still prepared to return. However, I do think that only one loo would be inadequate if all 5 beds were used. The single room would make an ideal en suite shower room. Views are lovely and situation very convenient for pubs (2 in village) and shops and touring. Parking was not reserved, but we always found a convenient spot.

A lovely cottage and the views are gorgeous!

It was a beautiful cottage just like home from home..very comfortable Was a perfect place to base ourselves for visiting the area

The cottage is extremely clean and is well looked after , well maintained. It has a very nice atmosphere. It is also very well situated with nice views of the estuary from first floor. Trudy the housekeeper is very nice and hard working. Definitively you need to stay there for a relax week end, walks in the woods or beach and a nice evening at the pub.

Thank you so much for your lovely review of The Cottage. It is wonderful to read that Trudy looked after you, she will be delighted to read this. We hope to welcome you back for a longer stay to make more of the walks in the woods and evenings at the pub. Sarah, Customer Support

We had a lovely break at the Cottage. It was warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Additions which would add to an already well equipped property would be bath sheets rather than bath towels, a full length mirror in the main bedroom and a patio heater to enjoy the outside seating area in the evening.

The. Cottage was quaint, well situated between 2 Inns - both serving good food & easy access to the coast. The views of the Harbour were very pleasant .

Nicely furnished cottage with idyllic setting.

Perfectly located with stunning views and spotlessly clean. The whole family loved it and are keen for us to book again!

You can mention on the review page that some of the furnishing need replacing- mattresses & sofas. You can also mention a small table & chairs near the kitchen would be great. Please mention the chaise in the main bedroom, taking up too much space!

Thanks for reviewing The Cottage - we do find that mattress comfort is such a personal preference and it can be very tricky to find something that ticks the boxes for everyone. The mattresses at The Cottage were brand new last year and have not been used over the winter period. There is a separate dining room with a large table along with another table in the lounge as shown in the photos on our website. It's lovely to hear that you managed to catch some beautiful sunsets on some lovely walks from the property and enjoyed your holiday overall - we hope to see you again. Bryony, Customer Support
