A lovely peaceful cottage in a great location. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Angela is so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

I needed a slip mat for the shower and Anglia supplied it straight the way

Angela welcomed us when we arrived and had left us the basics to begin our holiday... milk, tea, coffee, sugar. Lovely setting and close to many places to visit. Very quiet, tranquil.. all you hear are the animals. Angela was very knowledgeable about the area and was always on hand to help if we needed anything. Already want to go back!

Well appointed cottage and location in rural Devon with everything one needs to enjoy a ralaxing holiday. The ownwer, Angela, lives next door, friendly, chatty, lovely lady always on hand if needed for advice or help if needed. The view from the balcony across the fields is stunning, lots of wildlife and farm animals to see. Bit dificalt to locate the first time, put the Bickley Mill Inn post code on the sat nav and it's only half mile up the road. Stayed twice at The Cottage now and if we choose to visit Devon again will ask to stay at this place for a third time.

This was our first time of renting somewhere for a holiday, as first timers we could not have wished for a better experience.

Absolutely beautiful location with stunning views from the bedroom window and balcony of the Devon countryside. The owner of the cottage is next door, the farmhouse. Mrs Angela Dallyn. a lovely lady, very chatty and friendly, was very free with advice and information about the area making us very welcome. There was a couple of issues with the Wi-Fi connection and cooker hob workings but she sorted that out OK, nothing was too much trouble. We loved the place, location, everything. My lady, a Devonian herself, and I have decided to return to The Cottage sometime in the Spring 2022 and will decide perhaps in the coming weeks. The Cottage has everything we need for a short break or holiday with beautiful location and friendly owner next door as a bonus. We feel there is no need to go or look for anywhere else and would recommend Classic Cottages and The Cottage to anyone. It is of note that Premier Inn at Newton Abbott would have charged £641 for the week, £200 more and without breakfast!

Had an excellent holiday, great location. The cottage was very comfy bigger than I thought, everything you could need was there. Great views, the owner was very nice and helpful.

A clean and well equipped cottage in a great location with stunning views.

We loved the peaceful location, (be sure to use the owners recommended route in, and not postcode in Satnav) as it will be much easier. There are beautiful 180 degree views of rolling Devon hills, seen from both the cottage interior and decked balcony. Everything is well maintained, there is a well equipped kitchen, and beds are super clean and comfy.
Angela, the owner, is very meticulous with her cleaning regime at changeover time in the cottage, so you can be confident in these difficult times that everything possible has been done to make your stay safe. Nothing was too much trouble, and we enjoyed our regular chats! If you can drag yourself away from the views, there are some lovely seaside towns within a short drive, our favourite being Teignmouth.

Cottage is very comfortable and scrupulously clean. Ideally situated to visit the south Devon coast and to access Dartmoor.

We had a lovely time at The Cottage. Of course because of social distancing we didn't have a lot of interaction with the owner Angela but she did knock on the door when we arrived to say hello. We so muched enjoyed our stay in the cottage which was so tranquil and beautiful views over the countryside. Infact we have only just come back have already booked another holiday there for our wedding anniversary in February next year.

Beautiful location. Thoroughly recommend. Easy drive to coast and local supermarkets.

Lovely little cottage with stunning views of the countryside, in a great location to explore the local area, perfect for our family of three. Absolutely, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Angela, the host, was very welcoming.

I would suggest the addition of some coat hooks or hooks on the backs of the bedroom doors to hang coats, and maybe a foot stool in the lounge would be nice.

This cottage exceeded our expectations. Sometimes photos flatter a property, not so in this case. It was spotless and the views were fantastic. The owners were brilliant without being intrusive. I can’t recommend this cottage highly enough.

Very welcoming owner Angela. Ideally situated to explore South Devon. Very homely cottage with everything you needed. The Wi-fi signal was poor, perhaps a booster could be installed in the cottage.

Thanks so much for reviewing The Cottage - it's wonderful to hear you ha a great time overall and explored much of South Devon. The Cottage is very rural and we appreciate as such WiFi signal can occasionally suffer a glitch or two - we'll certainly forward your suggestions to the owner. Bryony, Customer Support

Our host, Angela, and her family were extremely helpful and pleasant. Being on a working farm it was delightful to watch the sheep in the field just outside our window. The seating on the deck outside the living room gave wonderful views across the countryside. All in all we could not have asked for a nicer place to spend a week.
